This video covers the importance of creep aggro and how to fully abuse the mechanic in the laning phase in and out. It will include creep aggro's range, cooldown duration, chase duration, deaggro and global aggro. It is part of the raw footage obtained from a coaching session conducted with a Crusader Offlane player.

Good video explained some things about the game I had felt before but didn't even know how to put to words the issues going on with creep and tower aggro.
Does the same aggro trick work with towers? Can I target from >500 range of tower before running directly under it for a dive without drawing tower aggro for a few seconds of harass?
Yes, as long as you click on any enemy hero, no matter what you do for the next 3 seconds, you can click on any enemy hero and creep/tower will not aggro to you unless already hitting you
It's how high mmr players dive towers and still be able to dive with confidence as the tower doesn't hit them when they force aggro. Similarly, they would combo this with hitting you outside 500 then toggling aggro to run inside 500 and tower will still not hit them.

That tip on aggro cd from range to not draw creep aggro and harass the enemy is gamechanging for me. I can harass enemies as support and not fuck up creep aggro

Hello, laning mechanics are the same for every lane. The only thing that differs is whether or not the safelane is inherently strong or weaker than the offlane, which in this case safelane would naturally need to be held near your own tower whereas offlane would try to actually attempt the enemy's tower then strong due to the nature of the heroes and the laning distance from tower.
