Awesome, awesome, awesome! Everything is amazing ! Your girls are getting life-changing experiences for sure; side by sides, fishing, cleaning the fish, the mountains, horses, puppies, a huge ranch of pioneer days proportions, lots of cattle and the cowboy life, gritty and real! I raised cattle back in WV, super small scale nothing like this but a lot of the same hard good for the soul work! My young son raised six calves. This is so wonderful for the kids, you and Jess too. Incredible filming, can’t say enough good things about it!

Amazing footage, guys! What many might not realize is that the large number of acreage of many ranches is due to the fact that an acre of land can support (graze) very few head of cattle. The scenery was awesome; the drone really makes that come through. Am really please everyone is getting to experience a new (to you) way of life. Ummm, I see a forthcoming trip back to the ranch to pick up a couple of puppies for the family! Looking forward to more vids! Y'all Be Safe!

It actually has to do with nutrition content of the grass, In NM cattle graze on what looks like dead grass compared to this green stuff! Cattle can be belly deep in certain grasses and starve to death.

Jealous! I'm a mustang girl! I made sure to buy a 66 mustang first so I can always tell people it was my first car. I still have it. Lots of memories working on restoring it with my Pappy who passed away almost 9 years ago. He taught me everything I know. Enjoy you guys. Thanks for taking us along! I also made a similar rule with hunting. My dad always hunted but my mom didn't start until I was old enough to go. I made a rule you shoot it you gut it. Haha so I laughed at the fish rule

Faucet looks good but man that night shot over the tractor, I loved that shot. Never knew about that area of Wyoming but that is only about 15-16hrs virtually straight south of where we live. Another trip just went on the bucket list. Didn’t mind the length of the video because I found it entertaining.

Have you looked at Rock Tamers to protect the front of the trailer from the roads of Alaska? From other people visiting Alaska, regular mudflaps probably don't cut it... Good luck and have a great trip. - Actually, looking at our Sierra, I realized that we can't use them unless we were to replace the exhaust pipe with a Banks unit - the stock exhaust would melt the Tamers.

Boy oh boy. If I ever get my wife to do what you all are doing I definitely want to caravan with you all to reap some of the benefits of your connections that farm looks like it would be a blast.
By the way, on a cattle drive it can be many things but is usually moving the cattle to a different pasture where the grass might be better. Sometimes you have area with different terrain which might have different grass or come in or grow different or the cattle just ate down where they were, pretty well. You might drive them to a center location for a sale too but often as not these days many sales are online. Then a cattle transporter comes and picks them up. In old cowboy days they did this on open ranges with no fencing and usually drove them to a railhead where you sold them and off to market they went. Read about the Chisholm Trail too for the real history of drives.
That is some fantastic country. Thanks for inserting the map into the video. To answer your question, the faucet looks very nice. Functionally, it will be far superior to the one installed previously. Tell me you had an opportunity to drive one of those cars!!! WOW!! Be safe out there.//DW
Catching up on your videos.....Always wanted to just travel back one of long, long back road to end up at a big ranch and spend a month of Sundays but just never did. Of course though you had some family friends, but really awesome views and awesome time on that ranch. Ohhhhh I'd just love, love to have done that....

A collection is not complete without a Hemi Superbird. If they don't drive them, they don't own them. At that point the car owns you. Property like that melts my heart. I would NEVER want to leave.
Dont ask my grandfather and many of my great uncles collected cars and drove them around town when I was kid and got them all shined up for special occasions. Riding through Main Street in the 4th of July parades in theses old cars is a fun memory of mine!! - Jess

First off I like a longer video. And I have a question. I notice you haven't showed your bikes in your recent videos. My wife and I plan on buying E-bikes because we are older. I have been wondering where the best place is to keep them for travel and not take up much space. Do you always keep them on the back? And have you ever had anyone try to steal anything? I watched a video once where some ones generator was stolen while they were at a stop light. Thanks I'll understand if to busy to answer.

again...your cinematography & editing is fantastic...especially the opening. Random Q: Are you using premiere? i'm just curious. some photographers/videographers i follow are moving away from adobe b/c LR has given them so many computer issues and so they are trying out other premiere competitors. I'd love to find an economical LR replacement for me (since i'm just a mom who takes way too many photos) b/c LR is such a RAM hog & causes computer issues and thus a non-adobe video editing software as well.
E House I really don’t like adobes subscription based software. A couple years ago I bought their last standalone version (Lightroom version 6.xx) . As far as video editing I just use iMovie, it’s free😃 I may move up to final cut x at some point(I have it) for better color correction and better screen overlays/transitions. iMovie is working for me now though.
So, how many of those puppies did you take with you? I know you didn't because they need to stay with their momma for eight weeks but I bet you wanted to!!!

Fresh puppies! Bahaha!! Remind me of guinea pigs!! 🥰 The realities of ranching are Birth Life Death. It's a hard life, but a few moments of Bliss!
You got that right! We actually just arrived back at this ranch yesterday. There was a couple new deaths that hit a little hard this year...

Boy oh boy. If I ever get my wife to do what you all are doing I definitely want to caravan with you all to reap some of the benefits of your connections that farm looks like it would be a blast.

By the way, on a cattle drive it can be many things but is usually moving the cattle to a different pasture where the grass might be better. Sometimes you have area with different terrain which might have different grass or come in or grow different or the cattle just ate down where they were, pretty well. You might drive them to a center location for a sale too but often as not these days many sales are online. Then a cattle transporter comes and picks them up. In old cowboy days they did this on open ranges with no fencing and usually drove them to a railhead where you sold them and off to market they went. Read about the Chisholm Trail too for the real history of drives.

Catching up on your videos.....Always wanted to just travel back one of long, long back road to end up at a big ranch and spend a month of Sundays but just never did. Of course though you had some family friends, but really awesome views and awesome time on that ranch. Ohhhhh I'd just love, love to have done that....

I have been wondering where the best place is to keep them for travel and not take up much space. Do you always keep them on the back? And have you ever had anyone try to steal anything? I watched a video once where some ones generator was stolen while they were at a stop light. Thanks I'll understand if to busy to answer.

Random Q: Are you using premiere? i'm just curious. some photographers/videographers i follow are moving away from adobe b/c LR has given them so many computer issues and so they are trying out other premiere competitors. I'd love to find an economical LR replacement for me (since i'm just a mom who takes way too many photos) b/c LR is such a RAM hog & causes computer issues and thus a non-adobe video editing software as well.
E House I really don’t like adobes subscription based software. A couple years ago I bought their last standalone version (Lightroom version 6.xx) . As far as video editing I just use iMovie, it’s free😃 I may move up to final cut x at some point(I have it) for better color correction and better screen overlays/transitions. iMovie is working for me now though.
