Got stuck at Walmart a couple times in this episode. One time from poor planning and the other from something beyond our control. Sometimes you just have take a step back and regroup. Have you ever been stuck with no place to stay?
The videos and quad recordings are beyond 'awesome'. Sorry Jessie 😜 That area is for sure on my go to. I love watching you guys because you have shown me things too beautiful to describe. As far as planning, no plan, just to hook up my fold out camping trailer to my Gold Wing and go. My brother just took early retirement so we could pick up and go whenever. Michigan weather won't let me head out yet though. Those big stumps reminded me of the remaining hollowed out trees from when MI was logged off. My dad and I used to deer hunt in the northern lower and we would clean out decayed stumps to use as blinds. Internally, some were +- 6 ft in diameter. It's a shame that back then, the loggers weren't required to replant with the white pines. I planted 2 bare root in my yard and they are already over a foot across. C ya on the flip.
Now we are motivated to check out the Olympic Peninsula on our way up to Canada this Spring. Hope we have beautiful sunny days like you did...gorgeous!
Well, I actually like y’all showing acts of love, respect and affection! It’s a rare occurrence these days. Of the dozens of other traveling couples that are on here it’s refreshing…
Fantastic footage, again wish you could keep it on the down-low :) Your daughters were right though i thought when i was in Maine it was the closest thing to Wa. I must say having lived in grays harbor most of my life you got a helluva day to spend at the beach those are few and far between with no wind and lots of sun. We normally rust, not tan lol
Troy sorry sorry 😂 it wasn’t until we were down in Oregon and were talking with people that we realized we got really lucky with the weather . It was beautiful basically the whole way down the coast. Due to schedules we did end up going to canon beach on the one rainy day though 🤷♂️ oh well it was beautiful! Lots of similarities between the Maine and WA for sure😃 thanks for watching 🙏😊
This amazing country of ours is miraculous in all of the geological diversity and range of climate.......Wow! To be an American. How lucky are we? It’s no wonder so many flock this way to see the amazing sights. My only regret is I have not seen all of these areas on my own. Thank goodness for TH-cam and drone footage. Much Love and many Blessings.
Debra Rhymes we do live in an amazing country! I truly hope you get a chance to experience some of these places yourself soon. Glad you’re able to enjoy our videos in the interim ! Have a good night🙏
Loved this video. Beautiful scenery. The sea stacks looked really nice. Corey you came close to saying it right. You days Rock Stacks. It’s close. I loved the ocean. I will always love the ocean. Glad you all found Corey or did you find your family? Sad the park you were going to closed. They should have given you a heads up at least. Thank goodness for Walmart. Looking forward to next video. See you all soon! Stay safe.
Gorgeous footage. You guys will love the Redwoods ( and sequoia if you're going there as well). The redwoods are the most magical place. One place we stayed during our honeymoon was the Burlington Campground on the Avenue of The Giants. Your trailer would not fit there but if you're able to stop; the trails across the highway from there are the best ones we hiked in the area while we were there. Can't wait to see your video of your guys' time there. Happy travels!
I agree there is nothing like the ocean, I've always said I couldn't live in a state where I couldn't get to the ocean with an hour or two; and the smell alone is so soothing and then add the waves just the best. i'm from Delaware, but I do have relatives in Maine and grew up spending a week every summer either on Mousan lake or in Kennebunkport and ski trips in the winter at Sugarloaf, Maine is one of my favorite states.
Alicia L as much as we have loved the mountains and glaciers and lakes, the ocean still calls to us. It is almost healing and just like you, we have always said we would never live where we couldn’t get to the ocean easily. Now we have a home that we can take to the ocean anytime we want! It is seriously the best combination! So glad you have had the experience of summer in Maine! 😁- Jessie
Amazing video guys !!!!!!! And yes my family has been stuck somewhere with a no place to stay when we finally found a motel that had bugs everywhere!!😫😫😫. Hope you have a better planning next time amazing photography! LOVE IT!!
I lived in Olympia for a few years, and we went to the beach only a few times as a kid. I have been a handful of times since, and I absolutely love how unique the little adventures are for each little pull over on the 101.
Paul Brattain that’s a perfect way to describe it, “Unique little adventures for each pull off”! What an amazing place to call home, even for a little bit!
Your videoing skills are awesome!! Always leaves me wanting to see more and then i realized it was 28 minutes when you made they mistake and said Washington insisted of Oregon, and i still wished there was more. Can't wait for the next one, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, hope you have an even better New Year, safe travels and God bless love ya Nancy
This is my home! Nice to see it thru new eyes! One thing.. it's pronounced nee-uh Bay. It's the Makah tribe's reservation! Shy-shy beach.. lol! Watch out for slugs!! Don't you love the smell of warm cedar trees!!?? "Tiny" is exactly the word we use! The beaches are perfect for kite flying. Stop at Ocean Shores and buy a kite for the next time you visit!
If you ever get to come back.. we'll meet you over on the ocean and take you to OUR must be places! Please send us a note!!! You did say Hoh correct! The problem is the coastal Indian names. We're used to them.. visitors aren't!! ❤️❤️❤️ We'll bring all our kites and drive on the beach!
Greg Miller I would be hard to mess up drone footage from this area😃 stoked to hear you liked it! Lots of cool stuff in the next episode , I’ve been waiting to share for a long time! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! Happy new year to you as well!
Ben Handley we can’t wait for you guys to experience it for yourselves! It is incredible. We can’t wait to go back! And it barely counts that Corey had on shoes because a good 6 miles was barefoot on beach sand! 😂- Jessie
You’ll need to pop up to the ‘flower pots’ at Hopewell Cape in New Brunswick...the tide goes out & exposes the ocean floor & these amazing rock formations. There’s a tide chart so you can time your visit.
Looks like you lucked into some good weather while you were here. A lot of people hesitate to explore Washington because they think it only rains here (we get a fair amount but we get green forests to explore because of it). Hopefully you will come back some day to explore the Hoh. You will love it!
Lona Nakken we had great weather while we were there and we will definitely be back to check out the Hoh! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
Gearing into housing outside gears to housing means u can make the gearing it self hve more torque turn 1/8 or 1/4 turn as it engages but still limited amount bc of gears outside of gears it can turn vs housing.
BonneFires thank you 🙏 😊 on our way down from Alaska we had plans to visit a few spots north in Canada but ultimately did not due to time and just being burnt out. It just means we will have to go back 😃 it’s an incredible area!
I am watching this in a middle of a snow storm. I know you are in the area of Texas at this point. You know you are from Maine when you use awesome often.
Very nice video! I see the next decade being very successful for your channel and personal lives. You sure ended it well. I hope 2020 and beyond is everything you guys want it to be. Hopefully we will see you out there as we are hoping that the 20s allow us to be able to get some serious time out there with our RV. Happy New Decade and please stay safe! Bill in Utah
BillUtah wow! What a great comment! Thanks so much for watching and for your words of encouragement. They mean a lot to us. Hope to see you out there soon! 👍

Your drone footage is amazing! You are very gifted and have a great eye. Just curious ~ is this what you do for a living (photography)? ~ Treca Gilbreath
Happy New Year to you and your family! And I thought you couldn’t top Alaska. This video is a great scenery adventure and drone shots excellent. One of my former students (I’m a retired CFI, flight instructor) gave me a MAVIC Mini for Christmas. I am hoping “Someday” (found it!!!!) I can take videos like yours. Amazing. How long did it take you to get good at it? Keep up the great adventure!
Dave Holcomb hopefully I have a few more good videos to share😉😃 thanks for the compliment 🙏😊 that’s a pretty awesome gift, wow! The best thing to do fly as much as you can, fly low also don’t just go as high as you can. So get comfortable flying first then add in taking video . From your background it sounds like you can do multiple things at once so it won’t take long for you to get the hang of it. When you do shoot video keep it smooth, slow turns , jerky movements ruin a shot . Hope that helps, have fun practicing!
3 against 1 when it comes to Twilight Movies....LOL! Great scene Corey, as a parent to 4 kids, I always look for an opportunity to make our kids blush, or slightly embarrassed. We love this part if the U.S. Would yall consider camping by the beach for a month to just relax? We hope you had an amazing Christmas. Have a Happy and Safe New Year!
Sandy Oklahomatransient we would definitely love to relax by the beach for a month! 😎We’ve recently been trying to stay in locations for longer . I do love the mad dash style still though😃we did have a good Christmas, thanks for asking, we hope yours was the same! Happy New Year as well. Thanks so much for watching 🙏😊
I love the purple heart hoodie and that one of you are wearing it in almost all of your videos! Makes me think of the chicken t-shirt in the Roseanne series. What is the story behind the shirt?
10aemery I love that sweatshirt! It was actually a neighbors and she gave the girls a bunch of clothes before we hit the road. It is a Victoria Secret sweatshirt and since it fit me and I loved the color. I claimed it! 😁- Jessie
If basket 3 ball folding mini tow arms allowing reverse parking not good enough if u pull the main pins on 40f or longer trailer RVs u can pivot trailer body on top of frame & get an extra 2 or 3ft of tighter swing either side. Fit that spot even though tree has your extensions closed in by pulling RV pins & swinging on body 2 or 3ft swing then pull/extend slides. God
A beautiful backyard! Thats right you/he told me that’s where you were posted. We didn’t, we focused on the coast as we traveled down for this trip . We will go back and definitely hit you guys up for recommendations!
The trees that were cut down may have been cut because of disease? Love your videos. We are planning to go to the Pacific NW soon. It was supposed to be in June but looks like that won’t be happening. But September looks great!
Great episode like usual! Looking forward to more of your travels and we hope you all have a safe and prosperous 2020! BTW, just out of curiousity, are you using any type of filters on your Mavic? Your drone footage looks awesome! :)
ShoHashi We wish you the same in 2020! No filters , I do add a little contrast in post though. Like always I appreciate your comments, have a great day!
Thank God I was watching with Angie, otherwise I would have missed the "Edward" reference. If you run into Alice, let her know I said hello. Forks is on Angie's list too. Lou & Angie 💚💜
Eat Sleep RV Repeat 😂glad she was there to fill you in! Our friends: Microadventurefamily are best friends with Ashley Greene who played Alice. Jenny was just in Ashley’s wedding!!! Thanks so much for watching, guys! - Jessie
Awww my home. Any area on the coast is paradise. Now that I’m full time I plan on exploring even more Enjoy the green Knee. aaaa (short vowel sound) Bay. It’s ok all those Indian names will get you. I live in Puyallup. East of Tacoma
Sharon Taylor thanks for helping with the pronunciation! I knew we would mess up something! We had a lot more to see the next time we are up there. Congrats on being fulltime and safe travels to you! Thanks for watching!
Gregg Ouellette amazing beaches for sure, very exotic feeling😎 not new, but maybe I never showed before. Installed the furrion backup camera a few weeks after buying the RV.
Gregg Ouellette in my mind it’s a must have, life saver. Not only has it saved my wife 100s of times from getting out if we’re in a tight spot, but also it’s on the whole time your you driving (if you want) so you can easily see traffic behind you. Anything that takes stress off a trip is a must have IMHO.
Cape Flattery is not in the Olympic National Park. It’s in the. Makah Indian Reservation. You do need a $10 permit to park at the trail head to Cape Flattery.
You are correct, but the water just offshore around the sea stacks is controlled by the National Park Service. Flying drones below 2000' in this area has been determined to disrupt the wildlife and is prohibited by the National Park Service. Normally, it is legal to take off outside of a National Park and then fly into the park keeping line of sight. In this case it is not legal.
If your drone has three blades/props in 1 u will get about the most for given weight. It starts like a fan w/in a fan surrounded by fan then as u power up the little & ten med prop fan extends out higher. In wind lower power triple same axis best but higher speed cause fan to extend pull/lift up if lower safer winds. Just a guess, God.
Just a guess but if vertical prop better if twisting 1/2 the length to the length of blade reaching into wind. but vertical no reaching or using my guess just the opposite. Prop climbs/extends up but blade gets smaller.
horizontal twisting into the wind as it prop spins 2.5 ft reach to 5ft prop blade. But just guessing if vertical lifting reaching 5" of lift means max 2.5" prop blade example.
You guys had some incredible weather while in WA, anytime I had to go to the Redmond or Kirkland area it always rained regardless what time of year. Do you use the B4UFly app and if so does it include National or Start Park areas you can't fly your drone?
Got stuck at Walmart a couple times in this episode. One time from poor planning and the other from something beyond our control. Sometimes you just have take a step back and regroup. Have you ever been stuck with no place to stay?

As a Forks resident and retired Forest Service employee, so happy you enjoyed your stay and great to see my backyard through your eyes.
Thank you! We did! We we’re supposed to visit again but if you watch tonight’s episode you will see we had to divert. It’s back on the list for 2022😃

too heavy to handle.
Denny Medeiros makes sense! 👍
God
repairs next to build swig & pull pins easier working on or under. same God
If u shake the rim hit something w/your trailer/RV then the frame pins break for far less structural or ppl damage.
That’s our back yard!! Washington is one of the most beautiful states. Did you experience Hurricane Ridge at the Olympic national park?
A beautiful backyard! Thats right you/he told me that’s where you were posted. We didn’t, we focused on the coast as we traveled down for this trip . We will go back and definitely hit you guys up for recommendations!
Finding Our Someday sounds good. Have a blessed 2020.
Diary of a Family thank you! Happy New Year to you guys as well!
When were you there? The weather looks decent. We were that area in October and it rained everyday.
- Jessie

Eat Sleep RV Repeat no joke!
I live in Washington it’s so Beautiful 💕
Great beaches, thats on my list now, looks awesome!!....did you get a new camera on the back of the rig?
Gregg Ouellette amazing beaches for sure, very exotic feeling😎 not new, but maybe I never showed before. Installed the furrion backup camera a few weeks after buying the RV.
Very nice, do you guys feel it's a must have, or could you do without it....?
Gregg Ouellette in my mind it’s a must have, life saver. Not only has it saved my wife 100s of times from getting out if we’re in a tight spot, but also it’s on the whole time your you driving (if you want) so you can easily see traffic behind you. Anything that takes stress off a trip is a must have IMHO.
Is that the rocks from the movie " The Goonies " ?
MyMason100 sure is😎 canon beach .
Flight below 2000' agl around the sea stacks is prohibited by the National Park Service
TheLightPainter52 no drone in any national park . Crazy just a few years ago you could!
👍👍
Watch out for big foot
I had my eyes peeled 👀
Please respect the parks and don't make rock stacks.
I don’t remember making any rock stacks 🤷♂️
It was a video with hyrogliphics. Not sure if it's spelled that way. Sorry, no big deal. 😀
