Is it possible to run the softail M8 primary halves on the road glide M8? Was wondering this as you fabricated everything up. Obviously, more budget friendly fabricating the set up. Just curious if you tried the softail idea and found it didn’t mate up right

The softail inner and outer primary with mid shift bushing should have fit . But I get not wanting to spend $1,000.00 bucks on oem harley primary. I could be wrong if so let me know .

If HD had any brains or actual engineers, this is what the ST models should've been.
All aluminum has holes in it, most aluminum is made in a sand cast or dye cast and if you heat it up really fast you can blow out the metal. I work in a aluminum factory 🤣🤣🤣

Not always true Mr. Roman. I recently took off a AB.S. module's on a drag bike, and now there's no tach, speedo, fuel gauge etc. It will be a full on turbo grudge type bike, and of course none of thee above matters, but nonetheless it did happen.

Why do you use type f tranny fluid? What’s the benefit or reason
Probably has Barnett or some other performance clutch plates. They like they atf for a smooth engagement
Can you run carbon clutch packs do you want to run tape as it makes them grab more aggressively. Other clutch fluids are made to slip for eas of ride for lames

Yeah that’s the color of primary fluid
Yes automatic transmission fluid type F. It’s what you want to run a carbon clutch pack. It makes the clutch grab more aggressively
