The D7/K'tinga will always be my favorite Trek ship design! In that one Voyager episode an old D7 was putting a pretty hard beating on Voyager's shields. Just a note, in current naval terms Frigates are smaller and less powerful than a Destroyer.

Voyager was too fast, more powerful phasers and torpedoes. The D-7 had no chance
Yeah, I know you're correct. But space games always seem screw this up. So I just go with it.
One thing to think about is that ship had been a generational ship. They've probably been upgrading it. From other races, just like voyager did.
Bird of Prey v. Jem’hadar Fighter is, to my way of thinking, the iconic image of battle when recalling the Dominion War.
What are your sources a lot of this, particulary the ship classes you use, is pretty spurious
I have a bunch of different Star Trek manuals like. Role playing games. Eagle moss.
F.Y.I. H.M.S Dreadnought WAS a battleship 😊
In 1960, Britain's It was the best battleship of the time. My ancestors are British. But I'm a 100% American.😂
Not a big fan of tea.
