Hey Kraig, I just came back from the Mardi Himal trek too, saw "ghost" too at high camp! He actually followed us to the viewpoint before staying there when we descended.
About the dogs: I heard this story that those are monks, who did not live their life properly and therefore have been send back to earth to guide other people!!! I almost always have a dog with me while trekking in Nepal 😊
We had ghost following us all the way, we had 3 children we us they love her and named her Tofu, my son got very attached to the dog and cried when we had to leave.
Nepal is amazing and my favorite country I have ever been to and I consider the annapurna ciruit trek one of the highlights of my life...your video brings back alot of memories from what feels like eons(13 years) ago!
@@BGaud but he had a good home and was in the most beautiful place already? Meeting and leading new people almost every day, being free!. Now he has to live on a leash and do whatever that lady tells him. How is that a better life? Sorry but that's just selfish.
You're such a masterful creator Thanks for the video! I truly hope you'll continue with this format - silent hike vid and dedicated 'behind the scenes' vid! Ghost is adorable, his story finally told!
you did good job by leaving "Ghost" where he belongs: up in the snowy mountain, free from crowd and hustle, free from chains in their neck, free from walls and gates of house. He is free spirited animal just like Ghost in GOT.
Good on you for paying for food at the tea houses. When I was there 1 year earlier, saw young people bringing their own instant noodles and attmepting to order "hot water". The high-altitude tea houses count on the food sales as part of their revenue.
Thank you very much Kraig.. that you let us participate in your wonderful tours. They have a meditative effect on me. These beauties, the creative work of our Creator, touch me very much.❤🩹
I am a hiker and you inspire me to take more chances and add more variety to my hikes! I Love dogs and was so touched by your travel companion for this hike ! Thanks for sharing your wonderful expertise! I'll keep watching them all! 🙏💖✨
Loved the video Kraig, We stayed at Mountain View hotel as well and literally last month, Dhiraj messaged me that you were there. We will do Himal Trek sometime on our next trip to Nepal. Thanks for sharing your experience.
As a nepali who has already done Mardi Himal Trek, it could not have been presented any better than how you did in these 2 videos. Loved your work and wish i could go back again.
You are such a good soul. I really like how respectful you are to all the people, cultures, and lands that you visit. I thoroughly love watching your videos too, but just want you to know that you make the world a better place. Thank You!
Really enjoying this guide! Glad you liked this trek, it's really fun. Hoping you'll come back to Nepal to take on many new adventures. I subbed to your channel after watching your Hornstrandir video but only after watching your Mardi silent movie, I realised you're from WFS!! I used to watch WFS all the time and your videos have really helped me a lot. Looking forward to watch more amazing content like this from you! 🙏🏼
watching your videos is like therapy to me. idk how to explain it?? but your silent hikes and videos like these explaining things calms me down and clears my mind. what i’m trying to say is i love you and appreciate all the content you put out.
I did the everest circuit trek to the Base camp over 19 days a few years ago. Hopefully this pandemic will ease soon as I cannot wait to head back to Nepal. The best thing about being in Nepal is it really make you appreciate the simple things in life. A cup of hot bevrage and a hot meal that you take for granted back home after arriving to the teahouse, and it feels like the most amazing reward in the world. Not to mention the shower at the end after being in the wild for a couple of weeks is the most amazing feeling; something that's hard to experience in normal life. Thank you for your awesome contents Kraig! Hopefully this COVID thing is not affecting you and your channel too much .
I was a bit confused at when you said "Dal Baat" and then I saw the dish. :-D Lentils and Rice!!! It's a staple across South Asia. Loved the catchphrase "Daal Bhaat power, 24 hour!"
