It speaks for itself that DJI is doing this. They already made the solid platform and has a lot of spare materials which can easily be used to make cheaper models. This generates more money.
I found it strange as well,,, but then I thought about it,,, earlier this year EXO tried to out do them when they was late on the release,,, so they dropped the Mini-3 Pro to knock them back down and hold there position as #-1 in the Drone industry...

Camera quality sure is a top feature. It is still a cool option for enthusiasts. I personally dont think I need all the additional features on the Pro so if I could get one without them for a cheaper price then why not.

Disconnect may have been caused by edging near high RF sources emitted from the locomotive generators, Distributed Power radio connection to the rear engines or maybe even the power lines.

Seems like they release the big guns first then the lower grade stuff although the consumer grade stuff is still pretty good and often have at least one feature that the higher grade stuff doesn't.
If this is occusync 2, does that mean they’re guna make other occusync 2 drones compatible with the RC? It’d be cool if I could use my djirc with my Air 2. I literally haven’t flown my Air 2 since I got my mini 3pro, which is a shame as that Air 2 was what started my drone interest.

I always presumed it was only compatible with occusync 3 like the mini 3 and Air2S etc, but if it work with this new mini 3 then I dunno why it wouldn’t be future compatible with air 2, mini 2 etc. it’s deffo made it a lot easier and more convenient not having to set up with phone or tablet all the time.
A lot of the features are just better stats and couple bells and whistles. The pro is probably better for someone who needs better flight control in general and or better mega pixels....just gotta shell out the Chedda
Looks like an amazing little drone. You’ll get better range if you turned around facing the drone when you flew past yourself a couple of times. But of course you knew that! I can imagine doing a review while flying must be quite a lot to think about! No disrespect intended Billy! Amazing job as always 🤙👍

I would go for Air 2s for stills/ Most bang for your bucks with that.

2: Yes
3: Mini 3 pro doesnt have transmission problems. Mine goes up to like 7km

I know you aren't asking me but I would suggest the Mavic 3. It has a telephoto zoom lens to zoom in on your weed.

With Mavic Pro, nobody uses real/true vertical video, so why should we use it now?
Cause now a lot of platforms use it. Mavic Pro was ahead of it's time.
Will it do spotlight, POI, or Activetrack flight modes?
No Activetrack features on the mini 3. Locks on for auto Quickshots only like mini 2.
I was holding out for this version. I just find that I never used some of the features that are included in the pro models.
