China's Top Polytechnic School -- 中国最强的专科

In China, going to a polytechnic school, or a specialized training school, usually means that a student got a low mark at the 'gaokao', the university entrance exam. Universities are cool, polytechnic schools are not. Shenzhen Polytechnic is one of the rare exceptions. Not only is it considered a good school, it is even said to be much better than a lot of universities. I went there recently and talked to some students. They were very optimistic about their professional future.
在中国，上专科学校通常意味着学生在高考中分数较低。大学很酷，但专科学校一点都不酷。深职院业技术学院是一个罕见的例外。它不仅被认为是一所好学校，甚至比很多大学都要好得多。我最近去了一趟，与一些学生进行了交谈，他们对自己的职业前景非常乐观。

深职is famous for its wealth, literally. Basically all colleges in Shenzhen are quite good because the city government itself is way too wealthy to support these colleges.

Bonjour, j'ai une petite question. Pourquoi tu parlais pas français avec les étudiants de Côte d'Ivoire? Est-ce que tu avais envie de leur donner une chance de pratiquer et améliorer leur anglais?

La raison est assez simple, les vidéos sont d’abord conçues pour une audience en Chine, et l’anglais est assez répandu parmi les jeunes, par contre très peu de gens parlent le français. Je pense avant tout à l’audience.
