It really reminds me of Age of Wonders 2 (in a good way), has a highly addictive crafting system and works wonderfully with a Steam Deck or a controller.

Its a great game and highly adictive. Sadly so far it has only one campaign and i could not force mw to play it a second time yet.

As much as this game looks like fun...I really hoped for an actual new Spellforce. Spellforce is not turn-based, it's RTS.
Not saying that I'll not play this one.

This game is interesting, but has a few quality of life problems. First of all loading times are too long for that type of graphics and contents, also often I experience microfrizes then selecting new unit or structure. Well maybe it's only my setup, but. The second problem if gameplay somewhat reminders Age of Wonders 2, the UI reminds Age of Wonders 1 or even something older, there is great number of features implicated into genre true past few years and I already used to and expect, for example in Age of Wonders Planetfall you can try autobattle and if you don't like results you just can retry battle but only manually - it is very convenient feature for skipping most trivial battles and don't worry to loose more than expected. Other than that the game is good, but not great.
