@@wavvyjit5353they are a cute looking sort of mascot really easy early enemy in Mana games. It kind of sets the tone that these cute things harm you. A lot of the monsters aren’t super scary looking. Some are a little more gritty looking though

@@marcwaters2600 Well, Japan's physical sale launch numbers are out... Not good :/ (Visions of Mana sold 30,696 on PS5 and 10,068 on PS4 at launch in Japan. This is significantly lower than the Trials of Mana remake which sold 80,383 copies on PS4 and 70,114 copies on Switch at launch)
This one is giving me FF7 remake/FF16 vibes, but it’s much more fluid. My favorite game of all time, the original Secret of Mana, plays more like an advanced Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (classic Zelda styles). In any case, they’re great games.
Started the game last night. Play it in Hard mode if you can, Normal was way too easy. Not a fan of the English voice acting but other than that the game is solid!
Just fact that rabite is first enemy you fight is great for all long time fans of series.

Honestly the first game, Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden aka Final Fantasy Adventure was pretty much that

It's how they say it in the games with voice acting. It's canonically "Man-nah" not "Maw-nah"
So irritating! And worst of all, the last couple of games have had the English voice cast say “manna” as well. Instant switch to Japanese for me!
