Tomorrow's Newspaper...there was show in the 1990's [1996=2000] called Early Edition where a guy would get the newspaper a day ahead if time, and try to save people from various disaster, death and bad deals. It starred Kyle Chandler. It would often be funny, sometimes dramatic, sometimes just plain weird. Apparently, an orange tiger cat [small domestic cat] would bring the newspaper to his door every morning. The guy was a reluctant hero kind of person.

They actually got several predictions correct. They were only off by a year for the Cubs winning the World Series, and they correctly predicted an expansion team in Miami.
Zoom calls, hands-free video games, large screen TVs, being able to watch multiple channels at once, 80s nostalgia, ordering from a kiosk at a restaurant, AI, biometrics, Alexa...

BTTF 2 and 3 were basically filmed back to back so there wouldn't be a drastic change in appearances of the cast. As far as the ending of BTTF 1 if they had planned a sequel the writers have said they wouldn't have had Jennifer there when Doc returned as it made for a conundrum that they had to fix. Great reaction ❤❤

Most people forget that this film’s version of the future is supposed to be ridiculous. They weren’t trying to make realistic predictions, just funny ones.

Couple neat facts. After this the mother actress Lea Thompson did HOWARD THE DUCK the first official Marvel movie in 86 made with Stephen Spielberg and George Lucas. Very cool. And keep look out for Easter eggs like the clock in the 3rd movie. Can't wait till you see it

People laugh at the vision of the future, but when you consider the technological advancements from 1955 to 1985, went to the moon, computers… it wasn’t a far stretch to believe the pace of advancement would give us flying cars- the sad part is no one thought we would actually regress

Yes the ending of the original was supposed to be a joke. They had to perform some screenwriting magic to have it make any sense. I was 7 when the first one came out, and I was eagerly awaiting a sequel not realizing it was never intended. 😂

daisy, little adjustments in time causing great changes is called the Butterfly efffect, in the movie Jurassic Park, Jeff Goldblum says, if a butterfly flaps it wings, it can cause a wind to blow and then that can turn into storm, which could take out a village with a tornado

Yeah, those comments are accurate about a trilogy not being planned. I'm sure the comments were something along the lines of it taking years to get the original made, Fox was working on Family Ties, so they had a hard time getting him, Stoltz was their back-up, but he took the role too seriously, good actor, just not for this part, the movie got pushed back, then the role finally went to the person they wanted, Michael J. Fox.
I was around 15 when the original hit the theater, it was a sleeper hit, most of us didn't see this coming. Fox was only known for his role on Family Ties, that movie changed all of that. Christopher Lloyd, well, he's great in everything he does. lol This is a great trilogy. Like a lot of us, this will be a trilogy you probably revisit multiple times over the years.

    Great reaction! Thank you!
I didn’t forget about my promise to show you something cute, now that you watched part 2. There are two clips, short, but definitely worth watching, as they show what a great trilogy this is and why they call it THE trilogy.
The first was filmed a few days prior to October 21st 2015:
    th-cam.com/video/Hgkx9JAON-I/w-d-xo.html
… and this one was filmed right on October 21st 2015:
    th-cam.com/video/Q0VGRlEJewA/w-d-xo.html
I’m sure you’ll like them both. Just sit back, relax and enjoy for a few minutes.
Looking forward to your next reaction.
    Salutations from Romania …

They filmed BTTF2 & 3 at back to back, and released themn6 months apart. Many theaters did a special "see Back to the Future back to back to back" where they did showings of all 3 movies at one showing (they allowed like a 10 min break in between films). I saw this showing at the Springfield Twin in Springfield, PA, and it took 9 hours. Lol. The movie theater isnt there anymore, but it was a great little twin theater. I also saw Aliens and Rambo II there. Lol. I managed a movie theater the next town over (Media, PA), but we were a 2nd run movie theater (we didnt get movies until after the primary theaters were done with them). Anyway, it was a really neat experience seeing the movies in succession like that, all at one showing.

daisy, in the 1980s there was a rumor that some kid got a hoverboard and messed with the settings, and he hovered too high and fell and broke his neck and died, and that was why we never got hoverboards at the toy store.

daisy , we still don't have hoverboards, there was a toy from like a while ago called a hoverboard, but it was just a board with wheels, and it had batteries that exploded.

    1. It's not often sequels hold up to the original, but this does. Thank you 1980s.
2.IMVHO this one is the best of the bunch. The next one is inventive but I'm not really into the story. That said, it is the perfect wrap.
    3. The stunt woman that flew into the glass window partially missed and injured her arm.
    4. Michael J. Fox also played Marty's daughter.
    5. Sammy Hagar, "I can't drive 55"
    6. Good thing Biff shoots like a Star Wars Stormtrooper
    7. The tunnel at the end is the same one they used for Tune Town in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"

      8. Charles Fleischer who plays Terry (and the voice of Biff's grandma) was also the voice of Roger Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).

Nike really made those sneakers in 2011 and sold 1,500 pairs. They are called Air Mag, the sneakers were made by the same person that designed Michael Jordan's shoes for many years. They were very expensive, the auto lace version was not actually available until 2016.

can you watch Dr Strange (1978)
    and Fantastic Four (2005)
    and Hulk (2003)
    and Generation X (1995)
and Nick Fury : Agent of SHIELD (1998)

There are also the 3 made-for-TV Incredible Hulk movies that were spin-offs of the TV series (with Bill Bixby as Dr. Banner & Lou Ferrigno as The Incredible Hulk)...
*The Incredible Hulk Returns (1988 - with The Mighty Thor)
*Trial Of The Incredible Hulk (1989 - with Daredevil & 1st ever Stan Lee cameo)
*Death Of The Incredible Hulk (1990 - with a prototype/precursor Black Widow)

daisy when i saw this , i didn't like that they went back to 1955, i had enough of that year in the first movie, i wanted the whole movie to be set in 2015 for this movie, i thought they could have come up with another story where they were stuck in 2015

Crispin Glover did not return as Marty's dad. Instead a look a like actor was hired and they hung him upsidedown so his appearance wouldn't be noticable. Crispin Glover sued the maker's of the film, and won. This enacted a rule that replacement actor's could not closely resemble the previous actor.
