I used Barnacle buster on mine. It’s a “mild” acid that eats the marine growth. Those things are very pricy.
Anyone who buys one of your boats should appreciate your videos. Knowing what you've done and you're discriptions of the the systems are in many ways more informative than a survey. So, yes I like these kind of videos. I hope you do one on your generator install. I like the way you explain how something works and why you do things to keep it running right.

When you first asked your readers "should we do it",I said "run like a gazelle ". Having restored 3 wooden boats in my life, I did have some insight. Of course me having 50 years on you guys did figure into my comment. Looks like you're not afraid of hard work or spending money on quality products. Good on ya for taking the job to the level that you have but I do have one very strong recommendation for you before you go "out there". Install some inspection plates on the vertical inboard faces of the fuel tanks (only place you can do that) between the baffles so you can super clean your tanks and assess their health. If the tanks look anything like the inside of that heat exchanger, there aren't enough fuel filters on the planet to do the job. Happy Trails!
EVERYTHING that you plan on doing on a boat always takes three to 20 times longer than expectected lol.. This channel is excellent💪🤙👌 this gets me motivated to work on my boat and teaches people alot. Thanks for all the clips guys.

Gotta say, I started following you when you were changing oil on Neverland thinking, initially, some rich kid rattling around up Northeast. Quickly found out that was not the case. Love you guys for living your lives well. I love when you are sailing, because I love to sail. I love when you surf or are kiting because those are things I have never experienced but you both are so good at it I enjoy watching you both because you are so good at it.
Ah, but the nitty-gritty. The hard things you both do, in my time line only takes minutes where you spend months working so hard to fulfill your dreams! That is what really blows me away is your ability to visualize then do the hard work (really hard work) that is required to make dreams a reality.
Can't wait until your vids are full of the fun, seemingly effortless, "carefree" life at sea that is the theme of your channel.

When cutting holes start on one side then flip the panel over and finish off on the reverse. That way you won't get all that tear out. Keep the videos coming.

You should check, drain, replace the oil in both injector pumps. Then get into the habit of checking the oil every 50 engine hours and teplacing it every engine oil change with exactly the same oul as you put into both Fords. If the pumps start making oil its a sign one or more of the plungers in the pump is worn and bypassing diesel into the cambox of the injector pump.
Would love to see more about the electrical system as you work on it. Especially before / after.

@@maverickmyrtlebeach It has been a problem for some time and only getting worse Mav. Each comment I have left on various channels in the past week has seen the same response. TH-cam should be more proactive in addressing the drama - a channel needs to be established to enable comment in the first place so follow up surely can't be that hard. Annoying to say the least.

Billy, if you start that hole saw from one side and then saw from the other side when the drill bit breaks through you get nice clean edges on both sides and no breakout. Just a thought. Keep the good stuff coming.
