based on the cab information tag E7-460 this is a 6 cilinder multi injection engine with 454 hp and an enormous amount of torque. Spring Lake Park, Blaine and Mounds View are third-ring suburbs of Minneapolis. Chances are good I’ve seen that ladder truck in action. I lived in that area for over 10 years… so yeah. That’s SO COOL. Now I have a degree of Kevin Bacon Firetruck with Matt!! 😂
29:44 I used to love seeing those rear steer fire trucks driving around in my younger days. There were 2 or 3 i believe in Buffalo, and i lived a few blocks away from one of the ladder truck stations(L12) so i used to see it often. That station later got one of the shorter non-rear-steer ladder trucks so they weren't as interesting. They closed that station and the guy who owns it now has a construction company so he can back his trucks & trailers right into his 'house'. Such a cool building i always wanted to own it myself for that same reason, but not in my budget unfortunately.
One of the best free things that someone can do to support a TH-camr in the TH-cam algorithm click-through rate (CTR) is by clicking and playing the video, all the way through, the very first time you see any of their video thumbnails. Don't save it for later, play it through right away, and if you don't have time to actually watch it right then and there, save it to the watch it later playlist, and then go back and watch it again.
You on the payroll, it's up to them to keep it interesting, I'm not going to sit and watch some b.s. just to help some random TH-camr. I think we all have a pretty good idea of how the system works.
Ritchie Brothers lookout!!!! Matt's Auction house is up and coming!! LOL The Mack is definitely a good buy for what you do with a truck. That is a solid fire truck, and it’s a seagrave. Very solid truck, 110 ft aerial. You should buy that truck, and when looking at fire trucks. Look at the hours, not the mileage. Usually those rigs have low miles with lots of hours. It doesn’t have a pump on it though. One of the drawbacks to that particular rig.
I can either sit and listen to the pre Spanish F1 Grand Prix waffle or turn the sound down and watch Matt take himself off to another Richie Bros auction. What an absolute no brainer. I so love a good auction video and especially when we're spending someone else's money.
My hearing isn't the best. The auctioneer might as well be speaking Arabic or Chinese. Everything he says just runs together like a record playing backwards.
Needs a big diesel creek logo in the mack bumper. Living in UK I never see many vehicles like you see so its an eye opener to see different shapes sizes and sorts of vehicles you have over there and i love it. I dont think I could even fit that mack down my street where I live haha. Very cool.
the ASV crawler with matching trailer is super cute )) Those EA7 Mack engines were pretty darn good, once they got a few years into them. Early on they had some cam issues. That cleared up with updates and they will pull a B-double quite well, the Bosch unit pump fuel injection are very good. But if you ever take a unit pump out, you MUST replace the cap head bolts with proper high grade cap head bolts or they will snap off while running. Do not reuse them, or plan to replace them the next day. Brilliant fuel economy, I was getting 1.75 km/liter pulling 64 tons.
Sweet purchase! Yes sir, you need to give that Mack some love besides just doing a service. Put duals on that tag axle and you’re ready for the National Pike Steam Show.
Is that the one which did the accordion can opener thing on the lid? I loved the idiot in the nice camper which scraped off BOTH of his A/C units on that bridge.
HOT DANG!!!!! Matt done went out and bought himself a little 1 stack Mack with no shack on da back!!! He's officially a big time, city Billy Big Rigger!!!!! 🤣 Nice buy, Matt! Congratulations! I certainly do hope you enjoy driving that awesome truck as much as I loved driving that day cab CH 600 when I was dragging a frameless dump bucket for several years starting back 2003! Gradually Matt is upgrading special pieces of his puzzle to build his business. Good to see. Hope he can focus on other special projects like the overhead crane and wood furnace, and home. Once those biggies are done he can get back to resurrecting collectibles and old iron worth saving. I’m amazed at his huge following. When I opened his page on TH-cam Sunday morning, there were 40,000 other guys who had already viewed this week’s video. Now, five hours later, the tally is 144,000 and climbing fast. He’s getting many thumbs up, I just wish more would subscribe- that will help him make more of these popular videos. Every time I see a Mack truck, I remember part of a line from either a song or a movie. He was talking about stepping up from a "Single stack Mack with a window in the back" to a "Double stack Mack with a shack on the back".
It's got a lot over the Autocar, such as more comfort, air conditioning, and parts availablity. Plus a good scrubbing and some polish, she'd be one fine looking rig.
That ladder truck is far from home.
Spring lake Park/mounds view is Minnesota
Fire Truck is from Minnesota. Spring Lake Park, Blaine and Mounds View must share fire equipment. I pump inflammable waste traps for them. I didn't realize Blaine was included in that consortium. I thought it was Fridley instead of Blaine, but yeah. Those cities are northern suburbs of Minneapolis. My shop is in Fridley MN, super close to Spring Lake Park border.
Matt thats funny because we called our Komatsu "Barney" too. The dealer said Japan likes happy colors for their equipment so the operator feels joy....
Purple is a " Calming" color they say...
So many penskie truck's you can see the curvature of the earth 😂😂
Lol👍🤣
Lol yea I was talking to the yard manager there he says they have no intention of selling them penskie thinks international maxforces have resale value apparently penskie doesn't drug test management
Very clever.😃
Now that's funny!!! 🤣🤣
Where are all the Two Men and a Truck moving company bidders and box truck “Stealth” camping millennials that need these?
Fire truck is from SBM, Spring lake park, Blaine, Mounds View fire department located in the Twins Cities, Minnesota. Up in my neck of the woods. Great Video as always!
i remember when you had like 10000 subs, amazing to see you crushing it, thanks for all the years and appreciate all the content
Thanks a ton!
never change, you the man!
You've got such a knack for turning every adventure into a story worth telling! Your ability to navigate through surprises with humor and resilience is truly remarkable.
And im am floating village life.
I have never related to someone more
there is no way, i was just watching that, checked out TH-cam and saw this posted.. Unreal!
My hearing isn't the best. The auctioneer might as well be speaking Arabic or Chinese. Everything he says just runs together like a record playing backwards.
I got the feeling you can be proud of the Mack! Looks like a good buy! Congratulations from Thailand.
Needs a big diesel creek logo in the mack bumper. Living in UK I never see many vehicles like you see so its an eye opener to see different shapes sizes and sorts of vehicles you have over there and i love it. I dont think I could even fit that mack down my street where I live haha. Very cool.
31:30 Firemen don’t wear oxygen tanks Matt. Oxygen goes BOOM. It’s compressed air.
That is a nice truck! A good wash and some chrome polish, this babe will shine!
New seat cover too.
29:39 "If you knew morse code you'd already know that" Solid Ron White reference
YOU KILLED ME WITH THE sEINFELD REFERENCE WHILE ON THE FIRETRUCK.wasn't expecting that at all.
Your slowly getting bigger.heres hopping it all work out in the future.well done and here's to good luck. PS luv your channel
the ASV crawler with matching trailer is super cute )) Those EA7 Mack engines were pretty darn good, once they got a few years into them.
Auction videos are always fun to watch and see how close you get to the hammer price. Price is Right for gearheads!
Holy cow you are right! I must be a gearhead (confession time: I'm a subscriber to diesel creek, so maybe that was a no-brainer) #gearheadpriceisright
Sweet purchase! Yes sir, you need to give that Mack some love besides just doing a service. Put duals on that tag axle and you’re ready for the National Pike Steam Show.
Whenever I see a Penske truck all I can think of is the 11'8" + 8" bridge channel on TH-cam.
Oops! Careful! Your Penske is gonna get stuck!
😂😂😂😂
Is that the one which did the accordion can opener thing on the lid? I loved the idiot in the nice camper which scraped off BOTH of his A/C units on that bridge.
there's nothing like a good 11'8"+8" Penske Peel video to start your day
The bridge needs to eat
That is a nice truck. That was good buy on a heavy hauler. You can use that until you get your Autocar done. Congratulations, Matt.
Hey 😁 MATT you got yourself a great truck ! I had one like that back in 95 that I drove all over the south east. Thanks
Love seeing these auction videos. What a DEAL! Nicely done Matt!
Awesome deal on the mack! I can't wait to see dirt perfect. Have a look at it. I would keep it for a good while.
Full grown Big Dog. That's a forever truck. Congrats Son.
Awesome truck 🚚
HOT DANG!!!!! Matt done went out and bought himself a little 1 stack Mack with no shack on da back!!! He's officially a big time, city Billy Big Rigger!!!!! 🤣
Nice buy, Matt! Congratulations! I certainly do hope you enjoy driving that awesome truck as much as I loved driving that day cab CH 600 when I was dragging a frameless dump bucket for several years starting back 2003! I really hated leaving that job, but constant issues every day with the new terminal manager forced my hand on that decision.
That fire truck came from my neck of the woods in MN. Northern suburbs of the twin cities. Odd to see it way out in PA.
I’m thinking there are many veterans who enjoy Matt as well, might be time to sneak in a military vehicle or piece of equipment.
Keep working hard Matt, you have many loyal followers who love to spend their Sundays with you, including me. 😅
Ha! i said the same thing to him!
I AM EAGERLY AWAITING THE OVERHEAD CRANE INSTALLATION, I THINK HE SHOULD LEAVE IT THE CURRENT LENGTH IN CASE HE DECIDES TO EXPAND THE SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has 2 ex military trucks and an ex army flatbed if I remember right.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Matt agrees he needs some more military iron.
Remember an old TV cop show where the detective is interviewing a woman in the hospital bed. "Who hit you?". "Mack". "Mack who?" "Mack truck".
That works with "Who hit you?" "a dog". "What kind of dog". "Greyhound".
@@1957rickster LOL 😂
Sounds like police squad. idk I need to watch it right through.
Now that you have the mack, you can take more time on the autocar and not feel rushed and do it right
I've driven plenty of those Macks over the years, an awesome rig that just keeps on giving.
Hi Matt. The Macks we had at R&L Carriers were the CH Models. We also had a lot of R Models. They bought the last R Models fleet ordered in 1988-89
Finally Matt can haul his own scrap. Don't need to ask for his buddies to make time for him
Great purchase Matt. You stole that truck. Will do the same job as those KW's for a whole lot less. Although those KW's were beautiful trucks.I hope you still build the Autocar.
I will still absolutely be working on the Autocar!
The Komatsu....like visiting an old friend😊
That Mack may not be pretty but you have a really cool hood ornament now!!😊
That fire truck is from the north metro of the Twin Cities here in the state of Minnesota! My hometown!
Matt, all I can say is "winner winner chicken dinner!" Boy did you score great with that! Sounds amazing, looks like it drove smooth as silk, look at you now, all big and all with that new addition. Huge congrats!
Spring Lake Park and Mounds View are in Minnesota. They're western suburbs of the twin cities.
@noskatehate
Not Western suburbs as they are East of the Mississippi river in Ramsey county.
@@ducewags oh shit you're totally right! I was thinking of Mound and Spring Lake over by Minnetonka!
Auction video for the win every time .
Yeah good or bad matt gots. OAD.........
OBSESSIVE AUCTION DISORDERS
I think that the Mack was a really good deal Matt. I'm glad that your finally taking a look at the side by side!
Thanks for taking us along. Nice rig for sure!
Wow this truck was a steal. I love listening to Macks run. Good job Matt.
I get my source of Iron for breakfast from a Diesel Creek video😁 Have a great Sunday Matt👍
The Mack is AMAZING. That's all there's to it. Amazing.
