You are right if this happened in Pakistan the only logical sense would be to consolidate the feelings with his wife and how can they overcomes this dilemma because if they don't talk about this it can be harmful for both of them

Just take your wife to the high class places (to which you can afford) like Port Grand, Bahria Town's Theme Park (if you're in Karachi) or the places where ticket is little bit costly because at that places, almost no chances of Cheap or Powerful idiots roaming because the families and couples there are also powerful and rich so they want to mess with anyone. Do Outing other than the official holidays like Eid, New Year, Aug 14, March 23 etc. Because in these days cheap people are roaming everywhere, so there is high chance of Harrasement. If you're not so rich but earn good money, you can also do one thing, just go to the high class places in your city and take the proper food basket with you (by this way you can save the money, also don't be ashamed of bringing food from home, just focus on your quality time with your wife).
Secondly, build some Muscles (wear the clothes which make them little bit prominent), Straight Body Language, Serious & Aggressive Expressions (except your wife, pass her the Smile and Make her laugh), Wear Glasses (this has huge impact).
Note: All these suggestion are only for Pakistan. Do apply these, it's not only to avoid Harrasement but it will also give you the benefit in long term practical life.

I also believe there is a very thin line between being couragious and stupid. In this situtation, it was surely the latter to confront the abusers. The person did the right thing... But surely there needs to ba conversation between the affected ones with open minds. Confronting the abusers might have turned into a deadly situation. I have a story to tell you, its about an incident i saw just a few days ago when i was coming back after getting a haircut....
As i was headed towards my home i saw a kid ( around 15 years old ) , he was using a phone and walking towards me but on the opposite side of the road, we both stared each other for a second. After that i saw 2 boys ( Pathans ) about his age walking just behind him, one of them gently slapped the boy hair and they had a stare down. Funny thing to me in this situation was that the guy that slapped him was waving his head. It felt like he was trying to say " what happened " with gestures, like wtf? Its literally you who is trying to start a fight whilst being with a friend and that boy is alone... I felt like those pathans were trying to start a fight and then snatch his phone ( thats my thought ) after this 5 second incidence the boy that was alone started walking away but the 2 boys thought there mission was incomplete, as he was moving forward the other boy from the 2 threw a small stone at him. I was literally soo PISSED i thought of kicking him in the soft spot! ( But i didnt ) Then the boy who was using phone put phone in his pocket and came close to them and asked them gently "What is the problem here?" They looked at each other as if they had done nothing to him. One of the 2 boys came forward and pushed him, I was 5 to 10 steps away from them watching what they were doing i started closing in on them cuz i thought if the 2 boys start a fight i will take the other boys side, after a little " tu tu mein mein " things started to cool off cuz the 2 boys saw the fight would be equal as i was standing with the boy that was alone.
After they walked away the boy just said " Thank You " and that thank you will have a special space in my brain. ❤ I am 17 btw

However, certain individuals, not limited to Pathans, can create negative impressions for their entire community. I think the difference between corruption in US (where I have lived for decades) and South Asia (born and raised in India) is that in US corruption does not affect day to day life. Increasingly in India the effort is to minimize the degree of corruption that an ordinary person has to deal with.

Burger kid is just confused and immature, he has not seen much in his life, his thought process is just based on the youtube videos. When I was 19, I had somewhat similar mindset, this was because of some setbacks in life and I started blaming all the Pakistani's for this. I was completely a different person after my Undergrad and professional experience in in North America.

Regarding the ‘coward husband’: it is possible that while she felt violated, she was glad you did not pick a fight. I recall once long back when there was a cab strike in a city I was visiting and I was traveling in a very crowded train with my Dad when a man touched me inappropriately. He appeared to be a rough guy. I did not tell my Dad what happened because I knew he would pick up a fight and most likely he is the one that would be injured. Was I upset about the touch? Absolutely. Did I want my Dad in a fight with a ruffian? Absolutely not.

My two cents on the husband -on-bike story:
Please do not fret over this guilt inducing incident. Junaid bhai has very comprehensively covered the social aspect and the consequences that you could have fallen into, had you retaliated in any way ( Kudos to Junaid bhai for mentioning so many plausible scenarios).
Now coming to the emotional element, please sit down with your wife and talk to her. Do not lecture her. Do not show her this video. Talk to her. Ask her what she feels about the scenario. And address her concerns while maintaining the stance that you guys got away alive and have each other. Show her love. May you both come out of this together and stronger.

The second email about the racist teenager is clearly unnecessary to give importance. He’s a teenager. There is a wide body of research work available concluding that teenager’s brains are not fully develop until they turn 23-24. He’s just a kid and I’m sure going back to his email at the age of 25, he will laugh at himself lol.
Having said that being Pakistani, people have white-fever/color complex so I don’t blame this guy. It’s the society that he’s being brought up in. But he’s honest enough to admit that he is racist to his his own race. You need some outside exposure in order to learn respecting people regardless of color.
