hey I have an issue. my drive way is steep. for 2 years I've parked here. i recently I've noticed when backing up slowly the differntial shakes and the car acts like it doesn't want to go like it loses power. its a 2012 lexus is350 rwd
Man thats the cleanest shop i have ever seen you could eat off the floor good job 1a has the highest quality videos and best mechanics on TH-cam they teach better than a tec school just wish they would make more repair videos on diagnosing and electrical problems
You’re first problem is it being a Jeep. 😂 I’ve had a couple and can confirm, Jeep stands for: Just Empty Every Pocket. If you hear a noise on a Jeep, you’ll probably be fixing 5 things.
Great job! Nice to see women out there. I work on my own cars for years. I’m a 58 yr old female and still doing small things. I enjoy it. Like being a detective some times. Keep it going! 👍🏼
Great job! I have the exact year, make, and model! My clunking is apparent when I come to an abrupt stop or accelerate from a stop. The worst part is all the rust. That and not having access to a lift. 😂
I absolutely love ur videos. I am very passionate about cars and do all my own work on all my vehicles. (Except electrical or PCM) thank you for showing us procedures on how to fix parts
I'm not much of a mechanic, but as a west coast guy, I love the Northeastern accent. I've got a rear end clunk on my Volvo V50, at low speeds when hitting dips and turning.. Bushings are brittle and deteriorating. Not sure what else is going on.
I had one of those jeeps years ago, one day the transmission shifted fine, and the next day it wouldn't go into gear while at a stoplight, had to pop it in N and have a truck push me out of the way, ended up selling her to a transmission shop for 2grand because he wanted to try to fix it, but I don't think he ever did.
hello , I have the same problem on a 2002 liberty and did replace the boomerang , it was in bad condittion , but now i her other noise I think the shafts or diferential
They were recalled from factory for rear trailing arms and bushing plus a hitch needs installed to stop gas tank from blowing up any dealer will fix this free of anyone has one and didnt know this
This was actually a design failure and Jeep never wanted to accept and recall it. I had to do it in my 2006 Jeep Liberty. Had a ton of issues with that car. Right after I fixed this same issue, my driver side tie rod decided to crack into pieces and the front left wheel went flying.. luckily I was entering a garage and driving really slow.. the car dropped and had to be towed.. repaired it once again and had to sell it. All the plastics started to fall apart like a Lego toy.
I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado and it has a rear clunk noise and a little jump from first to second gear 😢 can you please give me an idea of what to check on it ???
Just wondering why is only one rear wheel spinning when you are checking for noise and the car is on the lift. Meaning only the left rear wheeling is spinning and not both on the rear.
2005 Chev Uplander FWD van: rear shocks were replaced last year but loud clanking noise from rear wheels over speed bumps persist. What other components should we look at?
+Erick Agustin We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

The one bay they shoot videos in is super clean lol
Dude that lift is ridiculously LOUD! IT ALMOST SOUNDED LIKE THE CAR WAS HONKING EVERY TIME YOU ENGAGED THE RISE.
The left rear trailing arm bushing (forward) looks bad. Great videos! Definitely appreciate you taking the time putting these together.
You’re first problem is it being a Jeep. 😂

This is one mechanic i would trust with my car.

I replaced 6 bushings on the rear knuckles which solved my annoying clanking noise that only happened around low speeds when hitting bumps. Solid now!
Is there a follow-up video on this issue? I am having a similar issue and want to see if this fixed it. Thank you.
I absolutely love ur videos. I am very passionate about cars and do all my own work on all my vehicles. (Except electrical or PCM) thank you for showing us procedures on how to fix parts
As a female tech, it’s awesome to see another one!
I had rear end clunking from time to time. Changed diff fluid & noise never came back.
What fluid did you change?
Love it!!!! I'm a motor head to and fix my own truck. Love to see Female mechanic.

SO, WHAT WAS THE FIX? DID IT END UP BEING THE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM? I CAN'T FIND THE FOLLOW UP VIDEO
Ummm... I love her. I would trust her 100% with my car. And now I am a subscriber!
“What’s the car doing?” “I dunno. Car stuff” as if this is not me in my dads shop “helping” as a kid 🤣
Great job, great teacher, thanks.

Keep the videos coming. I Love your videos and you’re an awesome mechanic Sue!
5’1”? For some reason I thought you would be around the 5’6”.
My mom was a solid 5’ and the mechanic in our family. She would climb into the engine bay to work.
They were recalled from factory for rear trailing arms and bushing plus a hitch needs installed to stop gas tank from blowing up any dealer will fix this free of anyone has one and didnt know this
Oh, like a revision of a Pinto? 😂

2005 Chev Uplander FWD van: rear shocks were replaced last year but loud clanking noise from rear wheels over speed bumps persist. What other components should we look at?
sway bar related things
I push down on passenger rear and get squeak on 2017 Lincoln Continental Premiere 3.7L F 2wd.Would the Sway bar bushings cause this?
Lift isn't even sitting on the locks lol. this lady is going to get someone killed. where did she learn to work on cars at?
What does this repair cost?
What is it when I feel a hard bump forward when stepping on brake. It is kind of a severe bang forward when I step on brake.
These have rear shoes falling apart in the drum that makes noise forward to reverse
2008 ford escape hydbrit Hi Why does the rear defranciel get hit when it slows down?
She's seasoned and the video was informative...loved the accent as well..in the mid west we call that the "bada bing bada boom". Lol.
Realest tech on youtube
Are the rear tires inside out?
I always struggle to identify where in the vehicle the noise is coming from. I presumed it was my front suspension until taking it in
Thank you I checked my ball joints and that was the problem :~)

Is there person in the passenger seat filming wearing a trash bag for clothing?? Horrible sound quality for something we are supposed to hear..
Clearly you can see its the upper control arm. It's toast.
