    Thank you for making this video! I plan to refer to it as I make mine.
    I watched the boys at Flite Test assemble one and as they got to the wing attachment they mentioned that if you have an unused channel you might consider adding led lights. I had some challenge finding the plane during your maiden voyage but what I did see flew very well! Congrats!

    Nice video! I’m building the model A 1.4 at the moment and need to get a motor. Not sure how the model A compared in size to the 1.4 version but this model a looks significantly smaller. What motor did you use for the model A?

      Motor details in the description along with all the electronics I used 👍

    Been out of RC planes for a while myself. Printing the "Speedy Red Mini Wing" on Thingiverse at the moment, but this one is next.
    Guessing you are in Perth?
    Just moved here from up north.
    You have any problems with Rangers etc flying in parks?

    Does anyone have a link for the screws that you used?

    Your build plate seems pretty large. What made you choose not to print multiple items on same go

      I would bet its to prevent stringing between parts. The models are designed to print pretty continuously for clean parts with LW PLA, so the travels between parts could get messy.

    Is this plane good for beginners in flying because this would be my first rc plane.

      Yes very good for beginners... first plane I had flown in about 15 years! But I do fly a little amount of drones.

    How much time does it take to print?

    • @camk2552
      @camk2552 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      give yourself about a week of loading the printer to get all the parts out. Doing only 1 or 2 parts at a time is best

      Im printing the model S right now in lw pla doing 1 file at a time. Takes a long time but isnt too hard to keep starting the printer. once before work once after and once before bed. I'm over half done now. Kind of fun to keep production rolling!!

      I just printed the Model A 1.4 which has a lot more moving parts than the predecessor and I got it all printed in a weekend but I was using two printers. Assembly of all the services, pushrods and such is what is taking me forever. Can thank the three young kids for that!
