    I grabbed a 1/4-20 threaded magnet for mine and it works great! Screws right into the handle and the light can get mounted almost anywhere

    I use nothing but Milwaukee, however I really like how DeWalt uses the option to use 12 volt or 18 volt in some of their newer products! Such an awesome time to be in any trade right now, or just a homeowner just doing things around the house! Great video brother! You're my goto when I need an opinion on new tools! Just straight forward honest opinions and reviews! And thanks for not screaming the whole time! 🇺🇸🦅

    You can actually buy a 40 lb pull magnet with a round hole in the middle and thread 1/4 inch bolt through it into the. Light

    I bought this light and used it for the first time yesterday and it worked great, I was at a site with no AC power and I used a 3Ah battery for about 4 hours then switched to a 2Ah battery for about 3 hours. I used it with an old camera tripod instead of buying the $200+ Dewalt light with a tripod. Lights up a completely dark large room. Glad I bought it.

    • @waltermh111
      @waltermh111 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, this is made for open spaces, not garage tight space work.
      I do outdoor work and I think this will be great for spot work. 2000LM is practical for the 50 feet of space I need lit up.
      I wish it wasnt $85 for a light, but I could always go corded work light with a 50 foot cord or generator then, and the price seems more reasonable for cordless.

    Okay. I got this light. Its designed right. Spot on. I can fit a 9 a 12 and 10 amph and run on hi for 10 hours. Only with handle down or at 9 o'clock position can I get big bats In. But it's still great . What I have done is make my own hanger. With a 5/8 x 1 inch bolt and drilling a hole... I then use 3 ft of mechanical wire. Its because most of the time right over head hanging is desired and if only to the side is available the hanger will securely prevent falling and breakage. You can also buy a flex line on Amazon with 1/4 thread 25 inch long and a clamp. Enough to wrap around something. Just search flexible tripods.

    • @springerranch3178
      @springerranch3178 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@slamdvw Exactly. I'll be using it out on a 30 acre forest while milling lumber, building sheds, decks, roads and trails... No power anywhere, but I have camera, speaker, and other equipment tripods and stands all readily available... If you want the tripod, spend $120 more and get the tripod light instead of complaining about the one that's designed to be versatile. Having a 3 lb portable and bright light that I can mount just about any way I want, instead of being stuck on a 16 lb tripod is worth having...

    I know i'm late to the party, but the magic I see with this light is that it can for many, replace a tower light which are usually much more expensive. This will mount on most light stands used for photography, you can get them cheap and they're fairly sturdy, as they're typically designed to hold up much more expensive and awkward equipment. Carrying this light with one of those light stands is much more compact and lightweight than an actual tower light, as well as get to heights well above, 8-12'. I have tower lights and always dread carrying them or packing them into a vehicle unless i need them for days, so they end up sitting in the garage, whereas this light is always easy to pack and bring along with a light stand.

    Not sure if anyone's mentioned it (or if it would even work due to weight) but they have magnetic mounts that screw into the tripod threads (for DSLRS)
    They should've included a magnet on that large handle

    I'm going to build a bracket for my snow blower, mower and leaf vac. I need light in the fall. Rain and Snow should be no issue. I watched another video the guys were throwing this thing like a football. It would land and not break at all. The battery would pop out. So after seeing all this I'm sure it will work well

    5/8 in.-11 and 1/4 in.-20 thread to attach any kind of threaded (loop)hook, camera mount, flexible leg tripods, etc. to hang it anywhere from almost anything OR just hang it from the handle.

    I plan on using it on the floor, on a tripod, or even with paracord wrapped around the tree trunk... Just because it didn't come with the magnet doesn't mean it's not versatile, it has the tripod mounting holes which can be used to mount it to almost anything..

    I love this light, it works perfectly for my needs and, I really enjoyed your review. However, after using the light for 15 to 20 minutes using a 20V battery the light which is turned on to bright begins to dim then simply goes out. I swapped out batteries thinking that could be the issue but, after a fresh battery replacement the work light again begins to dim then eventually goes out after 15 to 20 mins of use. This is my second light. I returned the first light believing the item was defective. Have you had this issue? Is there a trick or step I am missing? I appreciate any forum feedback...thanks!

  • @Coxfame
    @Coxfame 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was debating to buy that light (I travel alot) main reason is because it's not that bulkier compared to ryobi's which it has all the mounting options hooks, stang etc. I think a nail would do the trick for downlighting other than that I'm fine by sitting on the floor. Just my preference tho. Cheers

    Will handle rotate all the way with 9 ah battery on.
    I love the small hybrid light on the left. I found the clap usless and was hard to use all 3 magnets ... so I cut both off. Now it has greater rotation and not unbalanced where in most cases I can only get 2 magnets on a surface. More versatile

I have cheap from amazon linkable 4 foot L.E.D. lights that you could put into the lip with double sided tape and face strait up. that would light up the whole underside of the car and they plug into ac.
