My great grandparents homesteaded here in the 1940s and now it's a thriving little town of nearly 200 people year around. I was born and raised in remote Alaska and met my husband in 2020 when he came to work for my parents resort. We got married in the spring of 2023 and love sharing our life with you all.

Absolutely Beautiful 🎉 My husband just passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer and going to your resort was a bucket list- in honor of him I'm determined to go- I'm cleaning friends Apts, selling everything, doing errands, odd jobs and I may not make it this season but I will be there next season...I just want to bask in the Beautiful place that God made and breathe...Y'all are a wonderful young couple, a great example to others and I pray 🙏 for you every night, thx for showing the beauty around you- God truly is the master artist 🎨

That’s some pretty amazing scenery.
Ooh, love the mountains. The lake reminds me of some I got to see in the Jackson Hole area when I did a trip to the Tetons. There are also some gorgeous ponds and lakes in Maine/New Hampshire/Vermont that I paddled when I lived there. I and two friends did that hike from The Farm 38 years ago and spent three nights camping at the lower end of the lake. There was an aluminum canoe available there which we used for fishing and exploring. It is truely beautiful.

Beautiful area and a fun hike, but I am curious why the area was established as a National Park, what does the park have that set it aside from the surrounding are, unique falls, endangered species , special mountain or culture? We are so lucky to have so many beautiful National Parks throughout our country. Alaska is beautiful, that is for sure.
