- We went on an epic, guided trip to ALASKA with 9 STRANGERS and it was incredible! Between whitewater rafting on the Nenana River, exploring Denali National Park, going on a cruise through the Kenai Fjords, seeing glaciers, camping and hiking to the Harding Icefield, our days were jam packed with activities! But the best part of our trip was sharing this whole experience with strangers that quickly became our friends. Enjoy all of the amazing Alaskan views and good times spent around the campfire :)

no doubt a distant destination and active itinerary (usually) leads to a bonding experience. Just wanted to share that about 30 years ago (yep I'm old) we went on a Backroads Cycling Trip to the Canadian Rockies. Banff, Lake Louise, up the Ice-fields Parkway to Jasper. We made some hard fast friendships. I still e-mail one of my dear friends from that trip after all these years and we have had several re-unions. Thank you also for sharing the IG contact info. I've only begun to explore their content (very parallel to your TH-cam post and IG site). There is a commonality that binds you all and the experience "seals the deal". Loved the vid.

Hi Cody and Victoria, this vlog reminds me of my time living in Alaska. Alaska is the most beautiful state in the country. I lived in Faribanks, Alaska for a few years while pursuing my bachelor's degree and I wish that I had never left. I had to come back to California when I finished my studies but I want to go back, permanently. Yeh, Denali is awesome but I still prefer Yosemite. There is just something about Yosemite's unique geomorphology that lends itself to photography over other national parks that I've seen so far. But overall, Alaska is the prettiest, its the real thing- true wilderness and huge. You guys should try another excursion there but this time, head towards the western part of Alaska, Nome. There are no roads leading towards Alaska's western coastline so everything west is totally wild with the occasional village. The only transportation west is by river, plane, ocean, or hiking. I don't remember it raining that much in the summer, but the mosquitoes were huge and horrendous. They number in the hundreds when you are near a river or pond photographing moose. Moose tend to eat the plants in the ponds and rivers because they have more nitrogen/protein/ nutrients, but that's where the mosquitoes live. Did you guys see eagles up close? That's my favorite memory of Alaska. 🌎📸✈🌲🌲🦉🦉🦅🦅🦅🦅

Hey, you got to see my hometown of Sewage!!! Now you know why I moved to the eastern Sierra. Seward is beautiful, but it is also a temperate rainforest!
Much easier to camp and hike when it is always clear and sunny!!!

I agree with you! We must know our land as much as Worldwide 😉 I have been lucky (and determined) to starting travel @ 5 months years old. From there, I always try to mixed up trips in Brazil and Anywhere in the World (also alternating Urban with Nature travel destinations)... I think that's is my Life Style that I am so thankful 🙌🏻✨
Following the Dailalama phylosophy: "every year, we shall know at least one different place" - It can be a city surrounding our neighborwood or a country in the other side of the globe, it doesn't matter 🤙🏻
Denali is a very special place. The mountain is more geologically impressive than even Mt. Everest in my opinion.
Luckily, we were able to see Denali on a clear day and it was absolutely incredible!
