another great interview!! very enlightening ... and encouraging
Thanks Jesse! thanks Hans!
Hans is the GOAT!!
I can’t keep up with all the videos this week. Glad to see we have lots of good stuff offered though! 👍🏼
Very helpful and even more insights and valuable information. I am totally with Hans on the "Quality over Quantity" mode of working.
Two Great Guys Having a Great Conversation.
As any freelance job, the sync industry is a freelance job but a much slower one. I earned my first 350 bucks sync fee after 5 years of hard working. Then, doors have opened up a bit and I signed with an exclusive publisher that secured good backend royalties. I think this industry takes a good decade in order to see something really good in terms of income.
You're not cool... $350 after 5 years 😂😂😂
this was a great way to start my day.. thanks Hans! thanks Jesse!
"It's always great to get some feedback" isn't that the truth, lol. I got a Shark Week placement a month ago and I think I'll use that as motivation for months. Thanks for this, it's lonely out there at times.
Great to see Hans!
Concerning the domestic/international placements - is it normal for international placements to take 13+ months to show up on the PRO?
I am with BMI and tracked my first placement via Tunesat in July 2023 on a german show, but I still didn't get a statement
Yes I've noticed that some international placements take a bit longer to show up than domestic ones. It's likely due to the extra steps required for international PROs to communicate their cut sheet information with each other.
Thanks for this!
I am aware that Tunesat is the usual way to track placements in the US and Europe, but I was curious about ways to track other international placements in Asia, etc. Thanks!
