I am a life-long, major Raiders fan. I blow an eye vessel pretty much once a week now, especially with this last game.

Jesse, I'm glad you're doing this series of explaining these good productions. Typically when I'm making tracks, I'm kind of just making tracks without thinking of all these elements, so it's good that you are highlighting this for us. I'm not sure if that sounds full on "Trap" to me, but I guess it sounds close enough?

The Library labeled it as "Orchestral Trap" so that's good enough for me. Glad you enjoyed the videos!

Jesse, listening to this again, is this considered the sting ending? I hear the drums and some other things stopping abruptly, but there's the trailing-off of the downers and risers, where I was under the impression that everything must end at once - and usually on the 1. Are these trailing or fades of particular sounds acceptable? I've been stopping my tracks with a distinct sting end, as that's what I thought the endings were supposed to do for sync in general. Thanks!

This would still a hit, definite ending with some embellishments trailing off. I would say for trailer music you can get away with this kind of an ending for dramatic effect. For all other styles of music, just just a punchy ending with root note hit.
