Tom, here in CT getting cool of course gives more opportunity to wear outfits, not just shorts. I like to layer but sometimes feel constricted, so i go for stretch materials, and not too tight. Looking to wear sport coats again for a more formal look .Like the idea of still wearing short sleeves, for more flexibility. It gets warm still in the afternoon. and always wearing long sleeves under a jacket or sweater is uncomfortable. Just bought a few sweaters to update .. keep up the style vids, thx.
Good advice, beginning to end. You look very sharp! I was a bit surprised there were no "fall colors" except for the dark brown shoes and boots. Where's the burnt orange, dark green, and burgundy? Those colors are harder to pull off with a lighter skin-tone, and I agree the colors you used here are interchangeable. But, for me, I like to wear some seasonal colors from time to time, especially as pants, which makes it so the colors don't clash with my skin-tone. Still, I've seen your style is dapper while keeping it very simple, which you make work. Thanks for a great channel, all the best.
Thanks for watching! I have a pair of darker khaki chinos that work well for fall and winter. I may get a brown sweater, but as you've seen, I like to keep things simple and lean more minamilistic on the wardrobe side. I have some nice tan and brown scarfs, but it's not cold enough for those yet.
Couple of things I’d recommend. Most of the time you have your shirts untucked and I’m guilty of this myself but tucked looks so much more streamlined. Levi’s 511 look a little too slim but I will admit they do fit you well.
Thank you. I used to always tuck in my shirts no matter what. Now I like them more untucked unless I'm wearing my dress shoes/boots. The Blue Oxford comes untucked too easy and is very casual anyway. The Dressy Polos I tuck in more often. With a sport coat or sweater, I always tuck in. With nice pants, I usually do, but with jeans or 5 pocket chinos, I typically go untucked.
Very informative. Gratitude. 🥇
Glad you've found it helpful!
Layering season is my favorite!
It's the best!
Great video Tom!
Thanks Chris B!
Excellent advice. Thanks!
You're welcome!

@@tommilano5431 Got really cold last few days, had to get out cool weather wear and buy some additions.
Hey there Sir. You make a great argument for v-neck sweaters. How do you feel about v-neck sweater vest?
Thank you! Vests are not my thing typically. But a Merino Wool V Neck vest will keep your core warm while still remaining an easy layering piece.
Flannel Season is here 🙌
It absolutely is!
Hi Tom, thanks for the tips and reminders. I've been buying winter gear for the last month or so.
You're welcome!

I would swap the cole hans for a better shoe like a Koio or Axel Arigato
Love your content but those cole haan hybrid shoes suck. I would go full dress shoe or full causal with a sneaker.
That's understandable. They certainly aren't for everyone.
Vans and under armour polo look fine but not good.
