I think Astro’s Playroom has to be the most immersive experience when going through the learning on the PS5’s components and is absolutely amazing to play
Just got a PS5 yesterday and I played it for a couple hours without even realizing. It seems so simple, but it's fun to see all of the Playstation objects they use, like when I finally realized the ziplines and tightropes were PS1/2 controller cords it just made me so happy. You can tell they put a lot of heart and soul into it, and I really respect that.
I know! It's absolutely brilliant! I've had my PS5 a week, and I've mostly put off Horizon Forbidden West and Immortals Fenyx Rising to 100% this, which I've almost done!
When I got my Ps5 the worker told me, cover it up, don’t talk to anyone, go straight to my car, and leave. She said supply and demand was super high and people would do anything. I did get some funny looks coming out but I got outta there okay 😂

It was my first day using it and I used it for like 6 hours straight. It is a satisfying and great UI. The controller itself is super good and entertaining. For shooter games, the adaptive triggers are annoying so most people will turn it off. But everything else. I was impressed by the ps5

Just so you know.... I was having a big issue with my ps5 having a screen flicker while playing ps4 games and this video helped me fix that and get me back into the game with the minus 1 to transfer rate!!! Just wanted you to know your videos are helping people!! Keep it up and thanks!!

Finally got a ps5 and literally looking up anything and everything I can in case I missed stuff, haven’t watched the video yet, but so far by far the best vid I’ve watched was from wulf denn who talks about some recording features and also the fact the mic is always on unless you disable it
@Ludimeel Sorbo’s backup Yeah I also bought one from a scalper but only 700€ (disc version) and still in the original sealed package, with the bill and Spiderman Miles Morales (also original sealed). I guess that price was ok considering that this is one of the most wanted luxury goods right now. I had already so much fun with Astros Playroom and Demon Souls that the additional 200€ dont hurt me ^^
It took me four months to get my PlayStation 5 and it sure feels good to know that I’m in the PS5 community, I do feel sorry about the other folks who are still struggling to get theirs, hang in there, your turn will come soon.
For anyone who doesn't know there are some problems with the PS5. If you have an external hard drive hooked up it could crash and/or brick the system. It hard crashed mine and when I turned it back on there was just a black screen but the console worked fine after that. Also leaving it in rest mode could also brick it and, for me at least, makes it where the controller won't work so it's best for now to keep it fully shut down.

Somehow, someway, because I happen to be studying Pastoral Leadership, I was able to get a PS5. Some dude selling it in my town for $540 ends up selling to me because I seemed the most trustworthy. I’m so blessed rn! Super excited 😆
Agree. I bought my switch on launch day and nearly sold out everywhere but not at the level of PS5. Every time it restocked it sold out in seconds. PS5 going to be high demand for a long period

Finally got one. This console has probably been the most difficult thing for me to get in my life. To people who still haven't gotten it yet, keep fighting. I know it sucks, i lived it but don't give up. And ignore those who ridicule you for not being able to get one. They were just lucky and feel like they are above others.
It would be good to see a video with information about new features and updated stuff for the PS5 post any major Sony updates. That could be a really helpful tool for those who didn't know of the updates and upgrades and would help with visibility for fixes for things many may have trouble with. A lot of people dont read through the fixes and updated stuff so clarity would be good. Great video Mystic!
I agree. I got my series x first but it literally just feels like a 120 fps version of an xbox one. To me, theres not a whole lot different. On the ps5 the change is definitely next gen feeling

You can use press-stick instead of the stand for vertical setup...I did that to set my console upright with limited shelf space. It prevents it from sliding around

Really enjoy your videos. I love your laid-back approach and how you focus on the content. Based on your videos, I went ahead and bought the PS5 a few days back when I got an email invite to do so. This will be my first console, so hopefully it’s not so difficult to switch from playing on my computer.
So I have a super busy life, got a PS5 for Christmas 2022 and it's July 2023 and I'm finally installing it with all the bells and whistles. These videos are a serious help. Some accessories I found helpful, internal Corsair 4tb, external Seagate 4tb, media remote, control cradle, dual sense edge, d brand dark plates. ( The PS5 was a gift, I did the math and my accessories ended up being more than the console lol) oh yeah and go with ps plus extra at least !
U forgot an essential feature “partial install” of any game. For example Cold War you can only install single player only or MP only to save space. Play them separately, finish em, delete em and move on to the next one
You could NOT -delete- mp/sp parts on ps4, only start downloading one of them first, then forced to download the other after. If this is true, it will be an amazing feature, saving lots of space. I only wish they would let us choose audio so you don't have an insane amount of language files taking up space. Like on switch and sometimes pc you can download speech options after main install. Should frankly let us access files on to delete intro openings like on pc smh ubisoft has 30sec of "EPILEPSI WARNING", UBISOFT, AMD, INTRO, and you can't even spam x to skip which in itself is stupid. Give us our damn time. Consumers are always treated like crap by overlord companies. We buy the product and pay for online but only own licenses to games? We should be able to sell digital games. I bought the AC ultimate 100 euro edition and I still have to spend money on dlc?? And like I said, watch the goddamn intros everytime??

The notion you are trying to grasp is what we call "Pre-Ordering". If you don't Pre-Order in time, due to limited stock, you won't be able to Pre-Order later on - Hence being sold out, to prevent you "purchasing" something that won't be sold to you on launch day. Limited stock has been a common theme all 2020 with the ongoing pandemic, and the fact that everyone seems to brush this much aside whenever the next hip thing they want comes around is absolutely ridiculous. It has happened with the Nintendo Switch pretty much all year, and most notably and recently has happened with the iPhone 12, and even the newest Nvidia RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards. While I completely agree with the comment regarding it not yet being released, because I am in the same boat, I cannot agree with complaints about it being "sold out". I'd be happy a console was released at all this year and thank the countless engineers who probably worked overtime for months on end during this pandemic just to manufacture the consoles that are currently planned to be available around launch, instead of whining about first-world problems when very likely more than 70% of the population as of present doesn't even have the disposable income to afford one. Be smart, be respectable, and wait until Sony restocks - Something they've already confirmed they are doing.

@@sonicfan101sonic6 I enjoy nintendo more than playstation, but that literally makes no sense. Every console is impossible to get at launch, and I would argue that Nintendo is probably the worst of the three to get their console at launch.
Somehow, someway, because I happen to be studying Pastoral Leadership, I was able to get a PS5. Some dude selling it in my town for $540 ends up selling to me because I seemed the most trustworthy. I’m so blessed rn! Super excited 😆

Agree. I bought my switch on launch day and nearly sold out everywhere but not at the level of PS5. Every time it restocked it sold out in seconds. PS5 going to be high demand for a long period

Finally got one. This console has probably been the most difficult thing for me to get in my life. To people who still haven't gotten it yet, keep fighting. I know it sucks, i lived it but don't give up. And ignore those who ridicule you for not being able to get one. They were just lucky and feel like they are above others.

It would be good to see a video with information about new features and updated stuff for the PS5 post any major Sony updates. That could be a really helpful tool for those who didn't know of the updates and upgrades and would help with visibility for fixes for things many may have trouble with. A lot of people dont read through the fixes and updated stuff so clarity would be good. Great video Mystic!

I agree. I got my series x first but it literally just feels like a 120 fps version of an xbox one. To me, theres not a whole lot different. On the ps5 the change is definitely next gen feeling

You can use press-stick instead of the stand for vertical setup...I did that to set my console upright with limited shelf space. It prevents it from sliding around

So I have a super busy life, got a PS5 for Christmas 2022 and it's July 2023 and I'm finally installing it with all the bells and whistles. These videos are a serious help. Some accessories I found helpful, internal Corsair 4tb, external Seagate 4tb, media remote, control cradle, dual sense edge, d brand dark plates. ( The PS5 was a gift, I did the math and my accessories ended up being more than the console lol) oh yeah and go with ps plus extra at least !

U forgot an essential feature “partial install” of any game. For example Cold War you can only install single player only or MP only to save space. Play them separately, finish em, delete em and move on to the next one

You could NOT -delete- mp/sp parts on ps4, only start downloading one of them first, then forced to download the other after. If this is true, it will be an amazing feature, saving lots of space.
I only wish they would let us choose audio so you don't have an insane amount of language files taking up space. Like on switch and sometimes pc you can download speech options after main install. Should frankly let us access files on to delete intro openings like on pc smh ubisoft has 30sec of "EPILEPSI WARNING", UBISOFT, AMD, INTRO, and you can't even spam x to skip which in itself is stupid. Give us our damn time. Consumers are always treated like crap by overlord companies. We buy the product and pay for online but only own licenses to games? We should be able to sell digital games.

The notion you are trying to grasp is what we call "Pre-Ordering". If you don't Pre-Order in time, due to limited stock, you won't be able to Pre-Order later on - Hence being sold out, to prevent you "purchasing" something that won't be sold to you on launch day. Limited stock has been a common theme all 2020 with the ongoing pandemic, and the fact that everyone seems to brush this much aside whenever the next hip thing they want comes around is absolutely ridiculous. It has happened with the Nintendo Switch pretty much all year, and most notably and recently has happened with the iPhone 12, and even the newest Nvidia RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards.
While I completely agree with the comment regarding it not yet being released, because I am in the same boat, I cannot agree with complaints about it being "sold out". I'd be happy a console was released at all this year and thank the countless engineers who probably worked overtime for months on end during this pandemic just to manufacture the consoles that are currently planned to be available around launch, instead of whining about first-world problems when very likely more than 70% of the population as of present doesn't even have the disposable income to afford one. Be smart, be respectable, and wait until Sony restocks - Something they've already confirmed they are doing.

@@weissofastora855 but they should be. It’s a shame because I had a TLOU 2 theme that was exclusive to deluxe edition and above. I also had a few other nice themes that I payed for like God of War anniversary and Bioshock anniversary. I guess it is what it is.
I got mine yesterday after release date, I walked out from shop . Had many people giving me looks as was walking around with it in a see through bag. Bought a black bin bag and put it there first then was bit ok . Scary day.
