Wow I went one whole month without buying any new EDC items, thanks a lot… lol
LoL!!
I saw these on another channel that was explaining how Walmart is carrying these now… as well as some nice EDC pocket knives and a Swiss Army style key chain knife with G-10 scales, all apparently a first for SwissTech. For budget stuff, they were all actually pretty nice, even the multi tool. It appears that SwissTech is taking an initial shot at the EDC market with some pretty nice budget offerings. Interesting.
This is actually impressing me a bit!
I want one just because it's such a great looking tool. I could say the same about the Snap-On Gerber, but I'm not about to pay Snap-On prices for a Gerber.
Wow, the multi-Phillips is a nice addition. I've never like the bit driver on Leatherman, too short to access some applications.
Totally cool how those philips screwdrivers go into each other haha very interesting
Their knives are surprisingly good
Good to hear. I like their designs!
Honestly i like a more aggressive file. I use that more than i do a diamond file. I think this tool with maybe an awl replacing the useless seatbelt cutter would be a solid option.
Curious if the Flissa tools are compatible with it.
I'm curious too. I'm tempted to try the bit driver in this tool!
Hmm, I'd still carry a surge Clone over it. But...but..the sheath has me curious. Hopefully you can really test the philips
The DL30 definitely offers more utility but... the extra touches on this tool are cool. I wish the Phillips wasn't as wide so it could fit a standard adapter though!
For some reason I thought this cost $50-$55 so I passed on it but I'll probably pick it up for $37. It looks great. The "Rhino Liner" is a great touch.
LoL, I actually like the Rhino liner touch as well!
The Rocktol version looks a lot more appealing, along with the Ozark Trail Multiforce, if you want to go with a clone.
I do really like the 1/4" driver on them!
What are the steel type of other components?
I've had Leatherman & Gerber mutitools and something always breaks like the wire cutter in the Gerber, they sent me replacement blades and they broke.. Now when I need a wirecutter or screwdriver, I get the tool I need, no more multitools...
Not sure but possibly the cut of the file could be for hacksaw capability perhaps?
Maybe, it looks different.
scissors to small and no replaceable wire cutters or awl (everyday use for me to punch holes in coffee or drink covers or clean my nails with) big no from me but i do like the colors and handle coating.
That's a great pouch, horizontal carry for the Win 👍😆
It fails for not coming with a bit kit to use with that square Phillips though. Or having a 4mm driver instead.
Conclusion : All style, no substance.
Unfortunately because of the thickness of the Phillips I don't think any adapter will fit!
@@hvacbudget8600 Hmmm that's a shame. It's a good looking tool.
Gerber MP600 has an adapter that may fit the square philips
Same tools as the $23 WorkPro? That nested Phillips is definitely the same.
Pretty much. A lot of these tools are offered with different exterior designs and names at different prices. Usually there's a similar inside toolset to another or multiple brands out there.
Hey brother what's going on just wanted to ask you a question or 2 I was wondering if you knew if I could put a pair of 81mm Swiss army scissors on my super tool??
I don't know about that. The large Victorinox scissors could fit on the outside of a Wave or Charge but inside might be tricky.
@@hvacbudget8600 ohh ok I see what you mean ...I so then what pair of scissors would you recommend for me to put in the Leatherman super tool 300??
@@marcramirez1986 I think the Leatherman wave scissors would be the easiest to put in. Or the SOG power lock scissors might be another option. There might be some modding, drilling out the pivot hole, etc required.
@@hvacbudget8600 yeah I was kinda thinking those scissors would be most likely the ones that I would go with because I don't have to modify anything really so now I just need to get me a extra pair of those scissors so I can put it in and then I will be ready to rock and roll! Would you happen to have a pair of those scissors that maybe you want to sell?? I know you have a whole bunch of parts?
I think there are better offerings out there, i.e. with a 1/4" bit driver and better scissors.
I agree!
What would be better? I can't find a decent multi tool for about 50$ that uses aus 8 . Most of them use really bad steels . Like 3cr , 7cr ect .
@@rickyricardo3551 I personally really like the Diacamping DL30 multi tool. It may not meet your steel requirements though.
@hvacbudget8600 Thank you . I actually just bought the bibury multi tool surge clone(31 in 1 tool) which I believe is similar to the dl30 and slightly better value than the Swisstech . Thanks again .
@@rickyricardo3551 Nice!
Anyone able to tell the exact weight of the nice MT ?
9.5oz
@@hvacbudget8600 that's exactly 295,5 gramms (metric scale), thnx a lot for informing me.
Any Leatherman signal clone?
Thanks

@@hvacbudget8600 thank you very much.
I didn't find the bibury, so I bought a daicamping DL 30. I hope to be well served.
Thanks
the aggressive side of the file designed for roughs wood work...
I see swisstech is making a surge now on ali express
It is. Seems to be marketed as a premium offering.
@@hvacbudget8600 yeah I don't want any in that large size. I was going to get a diacamping but now I'm thinking I'll go swisstech, I ordered a 30 in 1 swisstech today. The price in Aussie dollars is pretty expensive so hopefully it's good
This or the Bibury?
My favorite in this class is actually the Daicamping DL1 because it has large outside scissors.
No pocket clip...no go.
