    Helpful video man, can you also make videos of how to run the wires for the strikes, both wood and metal frames? Just wanted to see some tricks. I know every site is different but i just wanted to see how you do such jobs. Thanks man. Keep on!

    I like this kind of work. When you search for a job online, is it a low voltage technician?

    • @lowvoltageghost888
      @lowvoltageghost888  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, when you search for this kind of Job you will have to search by Security Technician. Low Voltage Technicians can be all the way from Fire, Access Controls, Network Infrastructure (Data Guys), Intrusion Systems, Camera Systems Etc.
      This kind of work is mostly done on the Access Controls Systems, installing Electric Locks.

    What type of certification you need to learn this, access control?

    • @lowvoltageghost888
      @lowvoltageghost888  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You don't need any Certs to become a helper. Once you are in the industry, the company you work for will get you a Security Access Controls License to be able to view drawings with high security details. As you make your way through this industry, you can get certifications on different types of systems.
      Hope this helps.

      Thanks, 10yr in the field now currently a lead low voltage tech. We run the cable but out source the installation and I’m trying to see where to start. I’ve heard of open path, but couldn’t get information to learn from them. Any systems that I could get training online?
