I have never use color blocking in an album, but this one is such a nice demonstration of using those little pieces that are always lying on my table. I'm going to give this a try. She was 92 when she passed and part of her legacy was her crochet club called Angelina’s Angels. I will love every minute of creating this album in her memory.....❤️❤️❤️

If you select playlist all of our projects will appear. They are named by the paper collection they feature. Oh my, you really did this collection justice. Just had surgery on my right hand so I will have to wait a few weeks before crafting again. At least I got the base album together. My daughter-in-law will love this one.

Did you build the base album yourself or is it a pre-made album. I wasn't sure since the cutting instructions did not include the measurements for chipboard and the video didn't show you actually making the album. The album is beautiful and you did a great job ! ! ! Thanks
Yes I built the album. I've included the link to the "Joy to the World" playlist were you'll see all the relevant video's to complete this album. We create a "playlist" for each project we make so you can easily locate all the video's. We use a standard naming convention so you can search by the paper collection name. Additionally we have two other playlists one that is just has album base builds in different sizes and our newest one for tips (not much in tips yet). Daphne, what bar color would you suggest the most? I’m torn between cream or black? I also would like to incorporate black velvet for maybe the spine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. By the way I did get the package and I am over pleased with everything that was sent. You out did yourself of the choices on the extras.
Having just completed in cream - I would recommend black. I've seen another project with Joy to the World done on black cardstock and it looks great. I generally prefer black over cream it's a lot more forgiving if you drop your ink or have anything on your hands that might transfer. Daphne

I do not provide cut list for the designer papers. If you take 1/8th inch off height and width of the flap (less the hinge) that would be the size you need to cover the space. When I do color blocking it's really done real time based on visual estimates. If you have a specific element that you want me to measure give me the time stamp on the video and I'll go back the book and measure it. Daphne

I allocate time in my design process to do just that, stare at the paper for a few days.
