thank you for the tip on the scoring and then trimming pages it works really well especially as in the UK our paper is 81/4 so less room for error. Really enjoying all your videos over Christmas as was laid up with bad cold. Learned loads thanks. Kim
Really nice video. I use large sheet of scor tape for my covers and spine, and I score my paper at 1 inch on all sides as a guide to build.,Thanks to Ginger Ropp for that technique. I also use. strips of 1/4 inch sor tape with the back on to separate my covers, and spine. Glad I found your channel and store.

I believe you asked about the book binding tape. I use it to reinforce the spine. I started having issues with the paper cracking and peeling. Many paper manufactures have moved operations to China and we just don't get the same qualify of cardstock as we had in the past. Daphne
Will you do a tutorial on making photo mats, attaching the photos to them, and ideas of placing them in our mini albums? I am struggling with this concept. TIA.

Did you find that the hidden hinge that you put book binder tape on worked well? Just wondering because you didn't use it on this mini album. Love all your videos...I get lots of ideas from you!
It does work well - I ran out of tape and its back ordered with the supplier. I didn't want to wait to get this album out. Having said all that I've never had a hinge fall apart and I have had the spine and cover split or peel. Daphne

You can also use your score board to lay your two cover sheets on when joining with tape for a nice even edge.

Great lesson about the grain. Even more noticeable on textured paper. I’m new so didn’t know but I’m just thinking back on some edges from the past.
Your right about the textured paper thats why i use smooth and love love the Astrobrights paper.
