This album can be made with either 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 or 8 1/2 x 8 1/4. It will only affect the cover of the album the hinge and pocket pages will not change.
I had originally made my albums a 1/4 inch shorter and at some point decided that a square would be easier thus the 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 cut list below.

I can't thank you enough Daphne for your excellent tutorial on this album! I completed mine, also using Graphic 45 Love Notes collection! I made mistakes but of my own doings yet I am very pleased with the end results. This 66 yo kid is taking this album back home (1300 miles) and present it to my 82 yo mother with the same pride when I handed her the handful of limp dandelion flowers! I have already started another one , just not same paper. Again, thank you!

Beautiful album! That cover is GORGEOUS! I love the idea of using the chipboard pieces as "latches" for the double door panels. Really great idea!

What a gorgeous album that highlights a beautiful paper collection. I like the first and last pages and the way they open out. My favourite part (s) though, are the waterfalls. I love the way you used the tags to create the waterfalls. I would not have thought of doing that.
I wish i could say that was my idea but I've seen it somewhere along the scrapping road would give credit but I don't remember when or where I saw it. I really like working with the tags now that they have a die for them.
Love Notes is such a gorgeous paper collection! G45 is going to need many additional printings in order to meet customer demand. LOVE your cover design...every element has a featured spot. Nicely designed album. This collection looks lovely against your black base. Green seam binding is a perfect match on those waterfalls...really pretty. Well done!!
Thank you so much! The green seam binding was just the right color!..I think my favorite feature is the latches made with chipboard pieces.
I love the dies as well and I find I use the tags way more often now. I can't wait to try using them in a waterfall.

I wonder who was so nasty to give you thumb down. Envy! I received 3 pads of design paper and one of solids two day ago. This is a wonderful collection with amazing design as well as colors. I have already ordered another 3 pads of each. Solids are really in beautiful colours and can be used with other collections. Especially red is fantastic. I love it. Your album is simple but very beautiful. The layout, combination of designs is wonderful. I think I will make one album like yours and the other on my own. Great! Thank you for sharing.

Your mini album show cased this paper line beautifully! I was curious, when fussy cutting stamps from the paper, do you use something to get the edges cut out (like half circles)- like how it looks with real stamps? Thanks for sharing!
I cut the stamps with a straight edge and inked the edges no special punch needed! Daphne
Beautiful album! I was just wondering if there was a way to seal the front and back covers to allow for wear and tear?
i personally do not "seal" the album. I had head folks get good results from using a matt medium to seal the paper for protection. Daphne

What are the measurements for your Love Notes album... is it 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 or 8-1/2 x 8-1/4
You can use either the pocket pages will be the same. I used to make my albums a 1/4" shorter then decided that square was just easier...but I kept my base album build tutorial. If you do the 8 1/2 x 8 1/4 the spine will be 1/4 inch shorter and the covers will be a 1/4 shorter. You need the 1/2 in on width to protect the pocket inserts when the book is closed. Daphne
