I was very surprised and saddened to see those yellow trucks. I was a Line Driver out of Boise Idaho. I ran one of them brand new ones to Pendleton and back five nights a week Holland triples, but at least you guys are getting work out of it.
Hate to see it all unfold, that was a good company to work for despite all of its issues, that box on the passenger side was used to house our tire chains. Great video guys !!
You mean the work ethic of bitching and complaining, how it's not worth it and not paid enough to do it. And how they will never take another load like this, might want to look up what "work ethic" means.
You guys need some wet weather gear! Man it sucks working in weather like that without it! Good luck you guys me and wife independent flatbed, love your videos!
I totally agree about that freezing rain - much better if it turns to snow. Early on, I had a single coil that I picked up in Atlanta and it fit on my flatbed so I left my trailer at home. Tarping a eyes to the sky coil with a 8' drop tarp on an 8' flatbed in freezing rain... I watched you climbing around trying to turn those fairings to get them to sit and I was like damn, that's gotta suck!!!
as Steve with the FSC trucking channel had to do with a tractor to haul he had a road service come out and remove faring's and exhaust stack, makes it way easier on you, and have the buyer pay the road service for removal work
@@warrenmichael918Then you simply dont haul it. This is why when i owned 23 trucks for over 25 years NONE of my drivers EVER loaded their own truck! Ever!!! Customer is liable for loading and unloading their own property whether it was dry van or refer and even flatbed. Never understood why Robert is providing all this free labor loading his own flatbed trailer. Its an insurance liability. You never see guys like Supertrucker Dan loading his own trailer due to these reasons. Robert should not be touching any of this equipment that goes on his trailer, sooner or later it will bite him in the ass. People will claim damage or other BS claims. The customer is responsible for getting it on and off your truck. Period!
When you hear farings just tell the broker you want 200 more because they can be difficult and do it your self, wonder what road service would charge on that, 300-400? Haha
Congrats on doing a great job getting loaded. Maybe should be winter/wet load versus dry/summer load rates. Definitely extra and tool requirement for fairing lift. Can't wait for next vid for unloading and great reveal. How the heck to get them off? Great vid and super effort. Hope you and hounds got dry and hot good meals. Expression "ball buster" comes to mind on this load!
I totally commend you guys for going through with that load as positive as you did. I'm pretty sure I would've told the broker "eat shit or pay me more".
If your in TeraHaute your Southwest of Indianapolis a few miles at least your getting the salt washed off with the rain. Stay Safe Robert and Lita hopefully we're on the warming trend for spring.🇺🇸👍

Btw...not sure if you have backup set of star bits in case one drops off in nasty place at bad time. Also thought about Magnetic Pickup Tool in tool kit if anything takes a dive. Harbor Freight showing 4.99. Notice one with attached LED light on end. Sweet! May the force continue to be with you. We are pulling for all of you. Can't image what you would do without Batman utility belts.👍
Your a hard worker I didn't think u were gonna make it back when u were hot shot....I've been through it all like you are doing...sold my truck 5 years ago retired and have no interest in trucking whatsoever...I remember best load I ever got ft Walton Beach to MacMillan tampa paid 3050 ...military load broker m I ved 25 loads at 1200 je wanted mine to be sure it got taken ...paperwork said broker got 3750 each load....so he only made 700 on my lioad
I think I recognize a couple of those unit numbers from them passing through salt lake. The drivers liked those tires in the snow, but they were useless once they got below half tread
What the heck is up with not having trucks ready? You are hired to load, secure, haul, unload. Not do mechanical work. I would call ahead. It better be drivable, ready to load or extra expenses. There are extra risks climbing over it. Good for Lita just decided never again. It’s a load to reject. It was not ready to load.
I stopped at 18 minute. They owe you at least $200 per truck because trucks were not in running order, prepared to load. Let’s see them hire people to do that cheaper.
Hey Robert you did hear about the tornado that went through Valdosta Georgia the other day. You could see it from boring pond road. Is crazy weather. God bless and be safe.
I would have told the broker if he wanted the fairing’s it would cost and extra $500.00 to get them. No way I would have done that! Change that to $1000.00
Robert did you really think that Little Jump Box would start that truck with the drained out Battery's????? If you did I got some Ocean Front Property in Arizona I will sell you cheap 😛 Lol
Wilson trailers has a awesome trailer in okc...70k is the crap of it all...but step deck...low deck...spread axle with dove tail and flip out ramps...wow...maybe Christmas will come early...
First clue, was they told you they didn't care how you got them off. I believe to quote you "cut them off if you need to" Because you would have been paying to replace them, when you deliver and have any damage.
The idle shut off is another thing you can thank Cali for. They passed a law that makes it illegal to idle for more than 5 minutes 😂😂😂 what a great state I’m stuck in. My work has that removed so we can run our PTO’s while pumping grease traps.
Shit to do with Cali, companies don't want you wasting fuel idling. That's all simply programmed in the computer, and can be removed. Same for speed limits on the trucks, these large companies save millions each year doing this.
I bet you'll never agree to that again,,, I never heard of the carrier having to like pack the product re: take it apart etc... all that should be done by the shipper....... That was just several hours of work in the cold rain you don't get paid for......
Hi from the U.K. I love watching you two so I can see it is not just me that has to deal with crap. I just booked a load knowing that I could only just fit it on. Turns out it may be a third bigger, massive difference. Why do they lie about dimensions and weights all the time.
Cold Rain is the worst to be trucking, chaining and belting but those flaring put this load over the top. Got to hand it to you both I might have turned and left
I appreciate your hard work and dedication to a job well done...it's a shame the broker will not, and pay you next to nothing to do all that work. Hang in there! Pass this type of loads up, unless they pay really well.
Hey Robert I have a truck I need moved across town but first I need you to do an LS swap on the engine and rebuild the transmission before you load it. Don’t worry I’ll pay an extra $250 😂
Those trucks must have been towed in to that lot piggyback style. They had to take the front wheels off to tow them. That wrecked trailer will buff out😎
