Bumper to bumper is still the same, but powertrain warranty has gone from 3/36 to 5/60. But, I agree they should be better than that for the price these things are.
@ the only advantage out of the 3 you listed is sound. The 5.3 and 6.2 simply have reliability issues. So that only leaves us with the 5.0 as an option. And if you go that route you give up 100lbs of torque to the 3.5 eco. So they’ve kind of forced our hand at this point
man that ram looks good ngl ill take the hurricane and the future hemi with the passenger screen ill just rip it out or just tap it with a hammer less problems
Not sure about everywhere else but in my area there are some really steep discounts on the Ram. Similar sticker price as the Tremor, but the Ram can be had for $15-18k under sticker price. From what I see the Tremors are only being discounted about $6k
Just got 5.0 STX in the avalanche color 4x4 black out with all the same upgrades outside of leather seats and tail gate. Takes the shifter to the old school way which I like much better. For some 30 to 40k price difference?
I have to say you got the “reliability” part backwards. The 3.5 EB is much much better then the first and second gens! The biggest issue they had was cam phaser failure, that was greatly improved for the 2021 and newer.
For a work truck and a pleasure truck, I prefer the Ford Tremor. After having the Rebel for six months, I've found that the Tremor offers more in many ways for my needs.
I’m sure the engine is solid, it’s everything surrounding it you gotta worry about. God forbid you have a simple wiring issue and they’ve gotta pull the whole truck apart to fix it.
You don’t buy vehicles today it’s ridiculous. The price that they are not worth that much money you make things in United States unfortunately it don’t last but quit paying for the outlandish prices that we have and eventually they’re gonna get the gist of it and start lowering the damn prices
I’m both a ford and dodge guy but if my money was the one that has to pay for any of this two trucks it would be the ford. The 3.0 on the ram is to new of a power plan on that truck to know if it’s reliable the 3.5 on the ford has been more reliable and proven.
@@robertannable9584 well I said features not suspension. Im in a tremor now coming from a 21 limited ram. The air suspension is great but the tremor rides impressively smooth for the set up it has. Most people remove the air ride anyways when lifting/modifying the truck.

$80k for leaf springs, a lot of creaky cheap plastic, and loose fitting plastic leather. Did I mention the blue jeans they wrapped the door panel with? Not impressed one bit by the tremor package
Personally, I wouldn't buy either one of them. TBH, I lean towards Ford, Stellantis is moving more and more out of the country. IMO, I'd opted for the 2.7 Ecoboost XLT 303A package. I just don't see the advantage of spending $15K more for these two models. Especially when most of my driving are on paved roads. Or hauling a utility trailer once in a while. If it wasn't for hunting and needing a bed. I'd probably be better off with an SUV.
For the money the old Rebel was a bit better than the Tremor. But with where pricing is at now with discounts, the new Rebel is a LOT better than the Tremor ..
I’m not crazy about mine, either. But I do appreciate the extra room in the center console it affords me. You can opt for a center shifter, and it comes with the “GT” package - catback exhaust, performance pages on the 12” screen, decals, bigger hood scoop and cold air intake for $3500 more or so.
Will the Rams V6 last? Will the stickers start to peel & look like crap when it’s old? Will the air suspension fail & look like an old saggy Lincoln from the 90s? All valid questions for an overpriced vehicle….
Fords look like crap as they age, too. They all look like crap if you don’t take care of them. The key is actually putting some effort into maintaining them.
Tremor with a V8.
I just love how the prices of these have shot into outter space, and the warranties have not changed in 40 years.

5.0 V8 Tremor for sure!
I like them both. Beautiful trucks.
Ben you were not sure on their ride my big truck has air ride and I yet have to change an air bag and it's got 725000 miles on it same design
My Rebel has lights, bed liner, and multifunction tailgate.
The Ford seems better equipped with HUD, Blue cruise, blind spot monitor, etc.
Every commenter says v8 but in real life people don’t buy the v8 they buy the turbo 6
V8 owners prioritize power, torque, and sound over fuel efficiency. (Roush or Whipple) is where the V8 guy's thoughts go.

I DESPISE the Ford chime. There must be a way to disable it or change it. It’s a deal killer for me.

How was the ram able to have ventilated seats? I thought that was only on GT and X models?

Rebel all the way. Looking to get one eventually
Leaning towards the Tremor but the V8.
Ben do you happen to know if the Tremor comes in a lariet package?
This is the lariat tremor
For a work truck and a pleasure truck, I prefer the Ford Tremor. After having the Rebel for six months, I've found that the Tremor offers more in many ways for my needs.

Can the Ram Hurricane motor be trusted at that price?

Ford Tremor all day long
Ford for tough rugged experience. Ram for comfort and smoothness luxury
Tremor and not even a hesitation of a thought

I ‘bought’ the 24 Tremor with 402A in Avalanche Grey and a 5.0. ….Ram …no chance, not this boy !
I do like the passenger screen
tremor v8
Don’t understand why they can’t put the decals on both these trucks underneath the clear coat.
Wheres the Beef.... Where's the V8's....
Tremor v8
I’ll take the Ford..Thank You
I hate that stupid passenger screen and vertical center screen so for that reason alone I would go with the Ford
Both trucks needs V8 engine in them both trucks are cool for off road
You can get the Tremor with the 5.0 Coyote.
Chevy Silverado Zr2 with the 6.2l v8.
