Thank you for your feedback. Before this I did not know what these double shackles did. But it only proves useful when driving through moderate off-road conditions at a suitable speed.
The effect is not so significant for normal roads. As long as I use it, it is very useful to reduce the impact of bumpy when going through off road/gravel roads.
My thought before installing this double shackle facing camera was that it would be the same as the single shackle. But as a result of seeing for yourself what happens under the vehicle - double shackles can help reduce the impact shock when the vehicle hits a pothole/bump.
Tu memang sesuai off road. Biru silver tu kira heavy duty, agak keras dari standard. Cuma pengalaman pakai tdk lama - dalam 1 tahun setengah shj sbp jalan sini memang lasak.
I was use this on my car.. my mini SUV car.. it just work for extend high clearenc when use for off road.. in daily use.. on the road..not significant worked
Yes. That's how it works. I've using it for a long time on my dmax vcross. Few years ago before I upload this video. I just wondering why I'm using this useless thing on my car, I thing it's only an accessories. So I take it out and re-use the original shackle then drive as normal day 60% on road and 40% offroad. Then I realize the difference between standard shackle with the double shackle during pass through the off road in about 30km.
Yes of course.. My opinion, most of people does not need to install this on their vehicle. This things only starts functioning at certain speed at gravel/off road condition. For those always drive slowly not necessary to use this.
Don't forget there is also a 'cost' element to it as well. For example, a $10 saving per vehicle by using cheaper and more simple shackles adds up to a lot when many thousands of those cars are made. 'Cost vs performance' etc plays a big part in all car components. If they only fitted 'the best' then why isn't every Ute like this running Fox shocks (insert premium stock absorber manufacturer here) which have been proven time and time again to be better than the vast majority of OEM shocks. Or why doesn't every car have Brembo/AP Racing brakes?
Very good idea, keeps most of that abuse the axel taking and not letting it to the frame. Much smother ride.

It does change the geometry of the rear suspension by changing the angle of the leaf spring. My concern is how robust would it be to rough conditions
Yes sir, durability for rougher road conditions has not been proven. Maybe it can be improved by increasing the thickness of the material used.
It make the ride less bumpy and more comfortable on road?

Jadi bro, bagus ka nda guna tu sharkel? @@geochannel85
We need to see it at full flex, ie full droop! Otherwise they’re not doing what they’re designed for
Thanks. Thats correct.
what is the conclusion?

This is only standard double shackle. Same height with standard/original.
Mantap owhhh
Boleh la, kc kurang skit sengsara di jalan gravel.

IF IT IS BETTER, then it should have been commonly installed right from the factory already.....

No advantage
Yes.. That's may right. 👍
