Special note here on the stutter for 4k wireless polling. Disable cstates support in your BIOS. I got the Pulsar 4k x2 v2 and ran into constant tracking loss and stutter. This cleared the issue right up by making sure my CPU ran at max performance. (even though its well within the recommended specs for 4k/8k polling.)
I have a model D Wireless presently which performs well, so, not feeling a pressing urge to upgrade. The optical switches would be the lure... but there's probably going to be another Glorious mouse update before my mechanical switches give out. I transitioned from a Razer Deathadder V2 Pro to my Model D Wireless because while I get to work remotely a lot, I'm also on call using a soft phone. So, the phone would ring, and I have to click to accept the call. However, the Razer software doesn't allow to disable sleep mode, so, I would have to get to my desk, wiggle the Deathadder V2 pro like mad to wake it up, and hope I can click in time (I couldn't). Got sick of that, and started shopping for another mouse that would suit me... and settled for the Model D Wireless. So, even if the Deathadder V3 Pro might be a better product, no plans to get back with Razer. I get it, my DA V2Pro was otherwise excellent. But it failed to meet up to all my needs, whereas the Model D succeeded... so, doing good with it now.
I'm just hoping they release a Series One Pro 2, or however they'd name it. I love the S1Pro, but it is getting a bit dated specs wise, and mine has some creaking issues. If they released an updated version with their new sensor and clicks I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
The mouse feels really cheap overall but I love the shape, don’t really notice the 4k polling rate and having a random problem with the mouse completely cutting out(mouse does not turn off) just updated firmware maybe it fixed
@@jwdubz7 Yeah I have it and that happened to me as well just randomly I was in a game and for some reason, moving the mouse wasn't doing anything. I had to unplug it and replug it and it started working again. I was already on the newest firmware when that happened. Hopefully, it gets patched.
Glourious shouldve stayed in the budget price range for good mice, they now have a premium priced mouse in a market where there are much better mice to choose from.
Not sure of the odds of getting a reply on this but... What's the coating like compared to that of the Razer Viper V2 Pro? I have a hard time getting a grip on the viper due to it's coarse "PBT-like" coating. This has that same course look, but also has a shine I can see in the video. Does it feel rubberized at all? Thanks.
My take on Glorious is they need to focus on function over fashion. Otherwise they're going to be left in the dust. They need to keep better track of the trends and what the MLG pros use and then build a better version. For example they need a magnetic switch keyboard yesterday. 4kHz polling might be useful when 1kHz monitors are a thing, but for now it's all placebo. I'm not a current MLG pro, My daughter used to date one, but for my age probably top 10 in the world in Call of Duty and I've tried it blind with my 4K Razers and 2K GPX .. no difference. Also, I believe some TH-camr just did a test. Debunking 4K pulling on mice. You have to remember that you're dealing with fractions of a millisecond. Not to mention 8X or higher than your monitor's refresh rate. In other words, 8+ different positions per frame on even some of the best monitors.
.. I'll add this tip, double or triple your CPI (DPI) then reduce your multiplier proportionately in your game. A higher CPI is a lot more effective than 4K polling. Also that's peak polling rate and not a constant polling rate.
For me i wanted to buy the model o 2 but when i saw this i thought that its the best but we i researched i realized that the model o 2 is better than the model o 2 pro, it has more battery life and more stuff in the description of it than the model o 2 pro also the rgb is something cool you have to have it
I hate how lefties are forgotten lately. There’s so little ambidextrous mice made these days. Currently have the G Pro X. Which has interchangeable side buttons.
Imagine totally forgetting about women and/or men with small/medium sized hands. Where the F is D minus shape? These mice are way to big and 90% of gamers are playing with mouse thats wrong shape. Mostly way to big for that matter.
