I picked up the Model O Pro 4k/8k from my local Best Buy and experienced the same sensor skipping issue mentioned in your video(even being on most up to date firmware version) . Not to mention that the there was a heavy amount of post travel on both side buttons. Not sure if it was just my copy but I returned it and am sticking with my Viper V2 Pro.

V2 Pro is a better mouse anyhow truthfully. One of the top 5 on the market. Only other thing would be a GPX 2 if you don't have a GPX.

@@TheRedMarauder I used to have a glorious model O, and it was the best mouse I've ever used ngl, 0 issues, perfect shape. Only problem was maybe the side buttons were not big enough for my play style. I wanted to try wireless, so I switched over to the Logitech GPX, and it was terrible because you couldn't even change the lift-off distance and I had to return it. Now I have a v2 pro and after a year of usage it's starting to double-click... Very annoying knowing how much I paid for it, but spec wise it's almost the perfect mouse. I think I'm going to get myself a Lamzu Atlantis or a pulse x2v2 because the double clicking issue is very annoying.

    • @TheRedMarauder
      @TheRedMarauder 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

The Lamzu Atlantis 2.0 is an amazing mouse. The other option to try is an Endgame Gear WE, or a Ninjutso Sora 4k. Upgraded in every way, crazy good. If you go the pulsar route. I recommend a Pulsar X2H.
GPX is a great mouse, but having to have their software open for it to function is annoying lol. Puretrak Valor is a better GPX. lol@@v8arctis660

I don't understand how your verdict is recommending the mouse, if after the firmware update that purports to fix connectivity/interference issues, you're still experiencing spinouts. That seems like a very problematic sensor implementation that every single competitor in its price range has never had an issue with. Could you explain why spinouts are not a dealbreaker for you?

The difference is night and day between my old basic mech keyboard (Gateron red I think) and this TH80-X with Wisteria switches, mind blown. Thank you for this excellent excuse to type a really long comment on my new keyboard - I have entirely enjoyed the experience despite I could just open up a text file and type a load of shite without cluttering up your comments section - but, nope.

Too be fair, their QC issues have not been so bad that it ruined the use of the mouse for me like the DA v3 Pro, the Pwnage Stormbreaker and a few others. I have their model d 2 copies, model d wireless and model d pro. All of them are still completely usable and acceptable nothing about them is amazing build quality but nothing is also so bad it effects feeling or in game. Not the case with 3 copies of the da 3 pro which all had creaking and mouse button grinding issues and 1 having a false click before the real click on the back button. The pwnage stormbreaker has had a constant issue with the right mouse button that is basically sticking. Multiple times to improve it have mad it usable but it's still not perfect. This is within a month for all 3 copies of v3 pro and stormbreaker. $150 and $190 dollar mice having issues within a month. All of my glorious mice don't have any serious issues like that. Not a single one. My zowie ec1-cw is fine except the coating wearing off in a month but that's classic zowie and I knew that, and my Lamzu thorn that I've had for about a month now is as solid as the day I opened it. Those are the only 2 mice that have been as solid as the day I got them. Glorious had some issues but none that made a big deal, all the v3 pro and stormbreaker issues made it actually annoying to use and felt while mid game.
So honestly, I cut glorious a lot of slack considering their QC issues is more of a well that sucks but it's also a fraction of the price of these other "high end" mice that are practically unusable after a month that all cost almost 2x their price. Yeah and glorious customer service is amazing. Razer essentially tells you to f off, and pwnage is okay but they essentially would rather you deal with the issue yourself having a fkd mouse or send it in to be "tuned" that will take a month than actually send you a new copy. Glorious has sent me out a free copy every single time I had issue with a mouse. No return, I show a video of an issue I got a free replacement within a week or a discount if the issue wasn't a big deal and I was okay with it. That's how it should be. The problem shouldn't be thrust on the customer who already paid for your piece of crap junk.
Even though I don't currently daily drive any of my glorious mice you can't bash on them near as much as razer or other brands for having more QC issues that actually do effect the real performance and use of the mouse where all my Glorious mice do not have that issue and they still take care of me better than razer or pwnage and their mice cost $150 and $190 compared to $70 and $99. Glorious is far more deserving of the money than Razer or Pwnage imo. I can't speak to pulsar mice havn't used one and Lamzu so far has been the only ultra lightweight mouse I have used that has not had a QC issue within a month of use. Besides the zowie but it's not really ultra lightweight.

Heavy creaking, buttons not working sometimes, double clicking often etc. I RMA'd both of them and both times support went "Oh yea they still mostly work though so sorry rma denied. But we can give you a 25% off coupon to buy our brand new mice in our store!"
I then said some very choice words because they essentially scammed me and as a result my account got suspended, so I charge backed on my card and I vividly remember showing them everything and they instantly got my money back within 24 hours.
Fuck that company and the horse they rode in on. I went back to Logitech, Razer and Lamzu for mice and never looked back.

Glorious’ chequered past with the keyboard community (there is too much to cover in a YT comment) is reason alone for me to avoid their products.
What exactly makes these mice worthy of a “pro” moniker when they can’t even get review copies working consistently? I’d like to see if the retail units have the same issues you experienced. The onus is on *Glorious* to send you a working mouse for a *review,* not for you to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I think a lot of people who do their research on products before they buy will decide to heed the warnings, but Glorious’ core fanbase are too emotionally invested to care.

Did you know that the shape of this Glorious Model D pro mouse is an EXACT COPY of the EKSA EM-500 mouse? The Eksa is wired, has a 3327 sensor in a forward position, and costs about $20 bucks. Obviously, the sensor isn't as good, but if you want super cheap budget mouse that's decent, go that route. Actually, I think Glorious stole the shape from EKSA, but I'm Glorious doesn't care. lol.

@@Divinity_vA if the review product has a defect firmware, AND ITS STILL NOT A FIX, what do you think those on the retail's shelves? do those mice update their own firmware? 9to5toys and FreshReview also having the exact sensor skipping/signal problem, its already 3 out of 4 reviewers has same exact problem. Review from The Tecne isn't flawless either, it's having a structure issue. and all of that is categorized as QC issue. what do you think a company that have 100% rate of QC issues for review sample?

There seems to be a misconception that shape is the most important aspect of all. That used to be true when Glorious didn't exist yet and all the sensors were good enough.
Nowdays thanks to companies that copy popular mice shapes and put electronic waste in them, it is no longer the case.
If the internals cause your mouse to literally stop working or malfunction, it doesn't matter how good the shape is. And the shape isn't that good to begin with.

Yea no, shale is #2. Reliability is #1. If a mouse shape is amazing but occasionally feels like trash to use, it's a trash mouse you shouldn't use. Period.
It's like a firearm, or a pair of jeans, or your phone, or fucking anything. It doesn't matter how great it feels, it's features, etc etc. If it's fucking unreliable, everything else is null and void.

Lmao "RAESHA" optical switches. Can you say dollar store Razer Optical Switches any more blatantly? Just look at the lettering on the switch. If any company stooped to that low of quality brand to put in there mouse to sell at premium prices then throw the whole company away. I wouldnt touch a brand using downgraded tech selling at an expensive price ever, idk who would. No respect to glorious or any brand nowadays doing this crap. Put some pride into your work, this is pathetic. Razer wins day in and day out there is 0 debate at this point clearly lmao
