I don’t think Saturn’s explosion had anything to do with multiple devil fruits. I think it was because of the pressure built up from the rapid aging brought about by Imu’s revocation of his immortality. The Gorosei seemed to revile devil fruit users, and don’t forget the way Warcury dove toward the water without regard for how it would affect him. I think the Gorosei abilities are bestowed by Imu and not Devil Fruit related.

Every devil fruit has a greater version and a lesser version. Im could have the same ability that blackbeard does to negate the effects of a fruit as both devil fruit seem to control a black water inky substance. If Im does have the power to negate devil fruits perhaps he can also share devil fruit powers between all of them making it to where they all share the same six powers but manifest them slightly differently. Like the gorosei don't have fruit directly tied to their abilities but but they are the sum of the power of all five.

I believe Imu has similar haki infusing to how Joyboy put his in the robot. And it's probably related to the Elders having immortality, telekinesis, the works. Odds are, I think they had the devil fruits in the first place and Imu just enhanced him with their crazy OP boss haki. Nothing sounds more plausible than a potential immortal dragon or creature sharing it's wealth with it's subjects, but maybe I'm just speculating.
