This Trail Didn’t Want Me To Leave

- I took my electric Surron deep into the Olympic Mountains to ride one of the few legal single-track trails in the Pacific Northwest. Over the season, fallen trees had taken over the trail, forcing me to cut some and lift my bike over others. As I pushed further in, turning back became impossible-I was racing against the fading daylight with no easy way out. What started as a ride turned into a battle for every mile.

Moving to Washington this summer! Can’t wait to ride this stuff
@@masonmoyers sweet! Which part?
@@zekd Redmond, working for SpaceX 🚀
This shit was shot so well!!! Good stuff bruther.
Ty! Appreciate you watching.
Killed it dude! Good work! I miss WA so much, moved away in 2020
Love the content, I think it would be great to see post riding stats like miles ridden and ride time
The m18 hatchet would have been a nice think to have mounted to the front of your bike for this trail. Nice video!
Good idea. I have a couple top handle electric saws. In the spring time I’ll bring one to do trail clearing. I was not expecting as many trees as there were on this ride 😂
Those goggles are sick!
That is a brutal trail! Wow!!
I live in the Pacific Northwest too. Been in your same situation more than once LOL. I discovered when going over those larger logs that you have to heft the bike over, removing the battery lifting the bike over the log then installing the battery it's much easier on you. Good drama in this video
I was a few seconds away from pulling the battery. What the video didn't show was my several attempts to get it over that log.
Appreciate you watching!
Would either one of you consider something like sur-Ron Light Bee as a better/lighter tool for this kind of a trail?
@@alexp.6406 yeah and actually I was referring to a light Bee on one of my trips where I had to pull the battery out and lift it over a big log. I sold that bike and bought an ultra bee. But I'm 6 ft 2" 200 lb.
@@shredmas I’m about in the same weight category, Would you suggest with going light Bee or ultra bee for such a difficult (in terms of obstacle crossing) trail? speed is not my concern. Power is not my concern the tool to get the job done is my priority so would you go back to light bee for this exact type of trail? What is that bike just too small and not enough power to get it done?
@alexp.6406 it has enough power and it's lighter weight would be better at getting it over those logs. With that said the ultra bee. Has more ground clearance and better suspension. I find it more fun to ride especially for someone our size. I'd get the ultra bee
man the video was so cool, such good quality
keep it up
That was brutal
Tat was absolutely sick .The music is cool love it perrect wear u were.
It’s the best place to ride!!
Man I woulda been irritated after the first few treees 😂
Once again I would love to have one
Great vid.
Next time try to spin the bike 180 degrees when lying on a big log to get the bike down on its wheels instead of seat first.
Great vid. Nice to see exploring! If possible could you weigh your 😊bike? I’d love to know exactly how much a fully built ultra weights with sirris and battery etc. 😊
how long of a battery life do you get on that surron?
I have an upgraded battery so with the bike setup and my 220lb rider weight, I get around 35-40mi on a full charge.
@@zekd thats not half bad
Wow, that trail is a full-on extreme workout. :-) what trail saw do you use? it seems to be very effective.
Many "what the heck am I doing here"-moments I guess
Have you ever tried a mini electric chainsaw? I always have one with me on the trails.

Tryout Hollyland M2 wireless mic. Its expensive but for the sound quality its worth the price.
Just a typical weightlifting video 😅😅😅
