Finding Lost Trails - Surron Ultra Bee

- Discovering new single track trails on the Surron Ultra Bee. Headed out into the woods with my buddy for an afternoon of exploring. Really enjoying this bike more each time I ride it. It's such a good tool to go explore. Planning is key to range anxiety. Mapping out your route will help tremendously. I am running a roller chain now and I have not noticed an increase in range. I will probably be switching back to an X-Ring chain.

Washington looks so beautiful and fun to ride.
Dude its so fun to watch your videos . Now I want a surron even more XD
The quality in these videos are crazy man.Dont know how you dont have hundreds of thousands off subs
Appreciate it! Trying my best. Trying to get to 1k subs :D
Ultra Bee such a brilliant bike, great trails as well 👍
It's a blast to ride! Makes you feel like a better rider than you actually are haha!
It seems you lost your friend on his environment unfriendly bike ;) I'm kidding, still got a petrol bike myself. I guess Ultra Bee is ultra quick (the rider plays a role too). Great video!
Absolutely! Rider plays a big role in it. I would get smoked on these trails by a faster rider on a gas bike. For the slower, tighter technical stuff the Ultra Bee dominates.
On your bike is that a gps tracker or its your phone?
Love the vids btw how did u afford such an expensive bike 😂😂 I wanna build a 72v 15kw surron but it’s way too expensive
6k 72v 12.5 kw
@@tommym3876yeah v expensive
@@Cyber1000A 2k more than surron light bee for a much better stock bike
Are you running the non O-ring chain now? Did it improve your range in the trails?
Yeah I'm running a non o-ring chain. I noticed its smoother and quieter on the trails than my Niche x-ring chain. I have not noticed any range improvement but I only have 2 trail rides on the new chain and haven't done a proper range test. Each rides were at different paces and distances so it's hard to know yet.
Non O-ring is def higher performance in terms of efficiency, but you need to really keep up with the maintenance - otherwise it’s actually the opposite.
@@zekd Good point. Yes, I noted that in my review video comparing chain types. Non O-ring is quieter at slower speeds, and louder at high speeds.
@@DizzzCo For our use case though the improvement may be negligible.
@@SUPERGOOSE-LLC yup! Been watching all your videos! Keep it up!
What brand of pads did you buy? How much regen do you use?
OEM pads, bought from Surron Canada if I remember correctly. I haven't replaced my fronts yet. I think I'll upgrade to a different brand for the fronts when I replace. I want more bite on the front.
Haven't looked but I'm hoping Galfer has some that fit. Best all condition pad.
That would be sweet. I drag my rear brake a lot so I go through pads pretty fast. I forgot to mention my regen settings, on this ride I maxed out both at 5. I think ill dial back the engine regen to 3 and keep braking at 5.
Thanks, I'm running 4 & 4 @@zekd
I'm jealous that place looks nice to ride in
Love this area. It's only 10min from my door step. Not bad for a local riding spot.
bro you got to get a new camera nice bike tho
What do ya mean? I’m running the DJI Osmo Action 4.
