The crimson red monarch might be the best case ever made. It’s been the top dog of the game for a decade soon.
Been waiting for this review to see what Floss was thinking. I got the PLYO and the Monarch Pro Kevlar when I got the iPhone on release day, but I had to send them back. The cutout for the action button rather than a physical button was a problem for me. The sides of the case are kind of thick, so you really have to press in the exact right spot for your thumb to fit into the cutout. Or at least it was like that for me. The quality on the cases was outstanding though, so if they change the case to have a button instead of a cutout over the action button I'd order it in a heartbeat.
That’s what kept me from ordering one. I was bummed out when I saw that it didn’t come with a button for the action button. Hopefully they make an updated version.
I’m not sure how flossy failed to cover this. I wondered how the cutout would feel. I’m gonna need an actual button on these cases now before I purchase
How about the MagSafe, I was told the magnet strength is trash. Falling off while driving, etc..
The cutout for action button should not be necessary since it should be a push inward button rather than a slide, unless it is also compatible with prior models.

Floss I work at Verizon and we have a carbon fiber UAG case that’s freakin awesome man. I’m surprised you didn’t add any carbon fiber to this video!
UAG cases are the bomb man, and if you got the dough for the big boy 15 Pro Max, you really should pour some money to protect your purchase from any accidental drops.
Also titanium scratches easier, so you really wanna guard that if you wanna consider selling it off to someone else in the future.

I've had the UAG Kevlar version on my 13 Pro Max since I got it new and it is seriously solid and has held up to abuse really nicely. Still looks nearly new and when I get my next phone I will be buying another UAG cover.
Got the monarch pro Kevlar as soon as it was dropped and holy moly that case is sexy in person, I got it in grey/silver and it makes the natural titanium stand out!
All of these cases would of been awesome, if UAG actually put a raised button to press the action button. They just left the cut out from the 14's silence button, and didn't bother to update the design. Such a shame.

Wireless charging is not working with those cases. You should test deeply. Just magsafe charge icon popping up. But 15W wireless charging is not working with non of them.
It’s obviously your wireless charger, I showed them work with every case except the Monarch
@@FlossyCarter Man this phone supports 15w. However, all monarch series support 2-3W at most. I tested it with Anker Mag-cube, Belkin 3 in 1 and Apple Magsafe charger. The problem is definitely in the cases. Also, if you look at the Amazon comments, you will understand that I am not alone.

I was a die hard Monarch fan. A Note 9 had a cracked back, a Note 20 Ultra had the back and front crack, from literally under a 24" drop onto a carpet edge. My son's iphone 13 had the back crack, then the front.
UAG claim the frames are rugged, but the sides are very flimsy on them.
I even got the Airpod Pro case, the clip lock fell apart on it.
I will try them again soon, they are my favorite looking cases, just sucks i had all this happen.

Excellent review as always Flossy. I have the Plyo case since I like to showcase that iPhone color. The case is solid and looks like it can survive a nuke but the one thing that makes me uncomfortable is the cutout for the action button. I have a feeling that their cases for the Pro series are not really for the new Pro series and are just recycled from the last generation.
The new ones have the button covering as well

UAG is a funny company. Spigen has nicer cases with better build quality imo, and way cheaper. Spigen also looks nicer too imo

I bought 4 pieces of UAG Monarch Pro iPhone 15Pro Max in different stores and on Amazon. Not one of them charged from MagSafe! I took them to the Apple Store to test them on their MagSafe. There are 6 pieces of MagSafe on the tables in the store. The charge occurs periodically for 30-40 seconds and is interrupted. I really love UAG and ordered another one in the hope that this is some kind of global marriage and I will get a working one.😌

I like how UAG cases protected the phone, but when you are using the MagSafe charger or battery pack the case enclosure makes the hot phone event hotter and overheating it. Should have take the case out, or just live with it?

I’m not sure about anyone else but for me the monarchs MagSafe accessories stick but it won’t charge my phone. So it will show that it’s charging but my battery goes down instead of up lol
