Ma'am, can we replace iselux with decyl glucoside? Also, for body wash - can we also take dried rose petals and neem?
I will 100% be making a batch of the concentrated hibiscus extract so I can use it to augment a bodywash that I'm otherwise fond of, but which lacks in active ingredients. It'll be nice to have a gentler option for those days when my skin is feeling a bit stressed by other products.

Hello dear. Can you please help me? Why the xantan gum doesn't dissolve when I mix it with the vegetable glycerin? I tried with different glycerin but doesn't want to dissolve. Please help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
xanthan gum does not really dissolve in glycerine. It is mixed with glycerine before being added to a formulation, in order to prevent the xanthan gum from forming lumps, which my take hours to dissolve, if added directly to the formulation.

My problem is that after I add the mixture of xanthan gum and glycerin in the product there are air bubbles that do not disappear at all even after months. The final product does not remain clear and transparent but as if it has thousands of tiny bubbles.If I will use Tragacanth gun it will be better?They say on internet that is used for leather edges but I saw in another video from you that you used in Shampoo. The DIY method I normally use to raise the pH of a formulation is either baking soda, or a 10% lye solution.

I made this..it came out really good..but once I add citric acid my ph came between 5 to 6..not exactly at 5..is that fine?
A pH value between 5 and 7 is very good. For this recipe, a pH below 5 is not good, and a pH above 7 is also not good. Thank you very much for your feedback.

Thank you so much for your comment. There are some surfactants that can work as sole surfactants and some are co-surfactant.
For example, coco glucoside can be used as a sole surfactant and also as a co surfactant.

Every ingredient you buy, must have the expiry date written on it.

@@maryclaret2057 if coconut is ready, harvested and the oil is extracted within a month, you should be able to store the oil for about a year.

Room temperature. Please check the shelf life of the ingredients you use, it will help you determine the shelf life of your product.
