Definitely a different vibe artistically with Parrhesia than with previous albums, but, wow, you needed to experience the tone in person. Actually jaw dropping; very hard to put into words. Would cut off a toe to have recordings straight from PA e.g. the 2018 reference recording of Meshuggah at Graspop. Think I've watched just about every posted clip of this tour and am yet to find one that was able to perfectly capture all the nuances, etc. as I remember them. Most noticeable/ notable change were towards the low-end, which was significantly more articulate (maybe as simple as tighter noise gates, more compression?). Javier, in particular, reminded me of that Dingwall NG-2 crunchy sound... some of the other recordings (particularly of Brain Dance, since there's less collision going on so phone mic --> phone compression --> TH-cam compression doesn't drown it out) capture that a bit more clearly. Nonetheless, absolutely one of the best concerts I've been to. Even as a guitarist-only, blown away by Matt's progression over the years. Kudos to all three.
over the past ten years these guys almost ruined all other music for me, I think Guthrie Govan was about the only guitar player that could draw my attention away ,at least for a while anyway, I hope I get to catch them both live someday ..thanks for time stamp on this..
You gotta respect a band that plays a set this damn long with so many difficult songs and is still tighter than most bands that play much easier stuff.

Just saw them 2 days ago for the first time. I must say, that was and will be the greatest concert I will ever see. I recommend selling whatever organs you must in order to see them once.

Phenomenal musicians. I just wish they had a live bass with them. From a producer's standpoint it is lacking quite noticeably imo - the live album they released in 2018 is lacking some depth and glue in the mix and even though they have a backing track for the bass, it's still missing some presence. Just my humble opinion. Fucking love the band.
