At a King's X concert I got caught up in a mosh pit and Dug Pinnick stopped the show and had the crowd lift me to the stage. I sat up there for the rest of the show. Damn! This show looks fantastic! I'm almost 70, a lifelong music nut (ex drummer) and have been blown away from the first moment I heard Polyphia. This is music as it's meant to be, engaging, emotional, fearless, performed by a band who are technically masterful, totally at ease with each other and who achieve that accolade of sounding as good, if not better, on a live stage as they do in their videos and studio tracks. Phenomenal performance, I'm immensely envious of the people in the audience who got to see this live.

What really gets me stoked is that Polyphia literally plays ALL my favorite songs as their regular setlist rotation. This is the only band I can think of where this is the case. The Worst, Champagne, GOAT, Goose, 40oz, Reverie, Playing God, Euphoria - I have never been so satisfied and happy with a setlist. The bad news... I have not seen Polyphia live yet, things just have not lined up. It will happen, I have plenty of time as this band is going nowhere but UP, and I am here for it!
