All part of the fun learning how things work. Never use heat immediately as we made the same mistake. Front blinds are pants but ok for 1 of 2 nights. We use a windscreen cover, total blackout and makes it warmer with less condensation. I’ve only just found out you can dim the lights by holding down the individual buttons 😂😂
Looks like a lot of fun - would feel more roomy on a solo trip! Can’t quite figure out the campsite. Looks more like a park-up but with a shower..? One thing we really like about the Cali is that you can dim the lights to make a bit more cosy in the evening. Small detail but makes a difference. Happy travels!
It was a park up for me, stayed 12 hours and the shower did the trick in the morning. Yes agree on dimming lights, we love our van. Same to you guys too. 😊🙌🏻
We pick ours up in 3 weeks , I’m Curious about the sun shades at the front , when your camping blinds are closed there’s a substantial gap above , can this be reduced with the driving drop down sun shades. I realise the thermal outside cover would do this.
Cool, hope our vlogs are helping with the wait. 😊 you got me here! I was solo, had my wife been with me those sun shades would be down, I forgot!😀 Make sure you check your shades as we didn't and found a big crease, also it's good to trial closing them.
Nice video, the Heat Immediately got me too, it's all part of Cali learning experience. I noticed the warning sound from the Cali the next morning when you were leaving and the keys were in the ignition, mine no longer beeps as I got the Carista ODB and turned off this 'feature'. The constant warning tone especially when on a camp site I felt was a warning I did not need. The couple from Campervan Time did a video on Carista, so if are interested check that out, their link is here th-cam.com/video/eAJPag3Iae4/w-d-xo.html. I liked your carbon monoxide alarm, very neat, where did you get that?

yes just had two nights and it wasn't too bad using the blinds. Haha we are always sticking our lights on the brightest. 😁 🙌🏻
