      @@Lukelearnsspanish music in spanish with lyrics, highly recomend, try christmas songs like jingle bells, might seem a little childish but children develop language far more efficiently. good luck

    I'm quite interested in hearing of your journey. Thank you for posting the videos; I was watching a couple of your conversations with native speakers (you're much more confident than I). It sounds like we're probably around the same level of Spanish; however, I don't understand even dubbed shows. Do you use subtitles for those too, or you don't need them?

      It can be quite hard to use subtitles for dubbed shows since they are not usually in closed captions. I usually just watch them without any subittiles. Personally for me I find subtitles a bit distracting, I would just rather read a book instead. Hope that helps :)

    Luke, you have inspired me over the last few months and really sold the Dreaming Spanish for me. I am only about 78 hours in but I have watched almost 400 videos so far using your minimum one hour advice. I am impressed with how well you speak. Pregunta: Are you learning any grammer or are you just picking it up as you go along? The grammer and conjugation is simply daunting.

    Thanks for sharing your experience with DS. I have just started my journey on DS after having "studied" Spanish for 2 years with very little progress. But one day, I tried listening to a few DS videos and I seem to understand mi amigos mejor. I just joined DS and I'm looking forward to having a great journey. Did you start from the super beginner level?

      For dreaming spanish I have pretty much always had subtitles off, I find subtitles distracting at times and can be abit much for my brain to concentrate on.

    Hi, are you tracking your hours on DS? If so, where are you at now?

    • @Lukelearnsspanish
      @Lukelearnsspanish  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I do have a lot of hours tracked on DS, but I have stopped adding the hours I have watched outside of the platform, just out of laziness. I believe I am probably around the 800-1000 hour mark if you counted every single moment I was immersed in spanish content, however it is hard to tell. From now on I just ensure I get 1 hour in every day.
