Ghana Waste Recycling Initiative

Ghana generates more than one million tons of plastic waste each year, but less than 6% of it is recycled.
In the past few years, some innovators in Accra have been tackling this problem by turning plastic waste into leather-like materials that can be used to make bags and shoes.
Now, this team has embarked on an even bigger project- a bus shelter. Yemisi Adegoke tells us more.
