Excellent innovation! I might advise wearing protective masks for workers so that one great solution does not create long-term health problems. I wish you good luck and I hope the government can assist you
Mind blowing! Killing two birds with one stone. So extremely proud of these young people. I hope the government or somebody with the reach and resources can adopt and help them scale up. This is sorely needed in Nigeria.
I dont live in Africa so dont know what is the life style like there or how people live. But I have burned plastic before and it gives off a black and thick smoke, that smoke dont smile good so I know it dont go well with the body, how long will these guy work before this smoke starts effecting them and doing damage to they respiratory system, and two that smoke can not be good when going into the air not good for the environment it can cause something you call black rain. It's a good idea to see young guys really come together and be innovative but still looking out for they health and the health of others.
Thanks for your comments. As a matter of fact, I work with the group mentioned in the video. We don't actually burn the plastic. We melt it in the presence of a limited amount of oxygen.
While I appreciate your efforts. I come with an important message. The way you are melting the plastic is going to damage your health..I promise. You should never let plastic smoke be in your vicinity...really you shouldn't melt it. However if you do, it should be with steam heat and in an enclosed environment with adequate ventilation. Otherwise , you will definitely gain lung cancer or something similar. It's definitely not worth it. Grind it down and use it as the aggregate.
Pl.give, the detailed description for making plastics(waste) into bricks, without damaging environmental, and how much time to spend one lorry load it means 10 tons of brick
Nice one, keep it up. But i have a question. When putting the melted plastic, do you put anything like oil into the mould or you just pour it directly?
This is brilliant!! Does anyone know who these guys are? Or how I can get in touch with them? These are the types of projects we are looking to invest in.
Making the melted plastic into roofing tiles will yield more money. To reduce environmental health hazard U can add used engine oil or used cooking oil to melt the plastic. Also add cement or clay dust on a ratio of 3:1 3 lbs plastic to 1lb cement. Make a roofing tile mold.
I love the idea because the process is not that hard to do to recycle the plastic to create a cheaper brick yet durable but I only have two concerns: 1. Since, the plastic is being burned you think it is not polluting the air and will affect global warming? 2. Is it safe and healthy for the one who is assigned to burn them which inhales the smell of the burnt plastic. If those two concerns are both handled properly and risk-free, overall this project is totally effective and helpful to our mother earth. Hope you can answer my question. Thanks.
I would like to see the plastic not melted. The melting of the plastic also caused a danger to our environment. Good beginning guys, I think another safer method needs to be thought up.
Kids. ❤😂🎉 Saving land and polluting the air. The burning of plastics releases carcinogenic fumes. This smoke is a thousand times more harmful to these kids than smoking cigarettes.
Over cooking Plastics will kill you very slowly. A simple Thermostat and a Oven will do, before reusing the plastic in a press or Mold. Look up or work out the melting points of each type of plastic you plan to re-use. Making things from all types of 8x4 plastic sheets into everyday items it was my job. Why not make plastic pipes for fresh water movement. Window Frames and Doors. Good luck with your projects from England,Wales
Excellent idea but what about those toxic plastic fumes gallium and BPA fumes and all I there a way to mitigate the fumes and turn them also into combustible CO2 fuel so it won't be harmful for the environment? You guys could ship these bricks to America ..This would help African economy..
Great idea, but they are slowly poisoning themselves, and creating micro plastics, when they start to degrade. At least they are doing something though.
🕊💗🕊I know you're doing a wonderful thing (job, work and most of all, for all of us to live in a better planet,)thank you so much from my heart,,,what about wearing a musk???, to protect yourself from the toxic fumes!!!,,,💗🕊💗safety first💗🕊💗!!!..
All celebrities who travel by private planes, and lecture us about global warming, sell something and GIVE MONEY TO THESE KIDS! they are the ones who do care, and they are the ones who have to smell the poisonous gases while making their miracle bricks, because they do not afford proper protection.
Carbon dioxide emissions and solving the waste problem. ✅ Their small scale industrialization is nothing in comparison to China, the US and MANY other countries. 🙄 Applaud their brilliance and move along. ✋🏿

Amazing. I am proud of you guys!
Brilliant problem solving skills, I extremely proud of you guys keep up the great 💡.
That's amazing, we need that over here in the states! :)

They don't burn plastic, they met in an enclosed system.
@@jeremiah6995 good that you are aware of the safety, and pollution concerns
@@jeremiah6995 how do I get the ratio of the plastic to sand?. The mix ratio of the plastic to sand
So you won’t provide any information about their company?? No links, nothing???
"Great to see, young, inventors/ business people "; wow!!!!!!
This is an awesome idea and it can really help in reducing pollution. Just be careful with those fumes though
Best innovation. Proud of you guys. Keep it up💪🏻

I so love this...This is really what I want to do..
I had the same idea long time ago but ended creating art with plastics instead
Nice! Well done.
Good job 👏👏
How do I get in contact with this guy
This is brilliant!! Does anyone know who these guys are? Or how I can get in touch with them? These are the types of projects we are looking to invest in.
Try contacting the TV team.... they probably will have their contacts
Google: "Gjenge Makers". their contact info is on their website
No Gjenke makers is the lady from Kenya

Great idea and very much needed but they need to invest in PPE.
great. Am interested in this project
What is the compressive strength of this material?
Plastic 3x stronger
U can use plastic for fog collectors for collecting water and have fresh clean water for people who don't have access to clean water
Can you use that to build me a Hexacube House? Or maybe a Algeco 2002 House and a Tetrodon Home or a Futuro House?
Well done guys 👍
Great work but they need protection gears
Great job....
God bless you guys bt be careful and thank you so much... 🌲
I would like to see the plastic not melted. The melting of the plastic also caused a danger to our environment. Good beginning guys, I think another safer method needs to be thought up.
I would love to see someone trying to recycle all the non PET items. PET (like bottles) can be recycled quite easy already.
Good one guy's
Bottles can make powder (like sand) and mix with sand
What about the emission that it will produce out of this process...
Who is watching this 2021??
Keep up the great work. But stay safe, wear eye protection, a respirator for the fumes, and gloves.
Amazing Job. But, you need to use protection. Enhaeling any kind of smoke is very dangerous for our lungs.
burning or melting a plastic is itself a problem, It'll generate lots of smoke.
Any solution of this?
Green house gas may release?
You should build lots of tall apartments in Africa.
Settle down this is one country alone🤔
We'll get there Mr President...
Soil cement bricks can do as well
If the mound is plastic, will the heat melt the mould?
I need more knoeledge
Beautiful, nice
can u guys pls share wisdom im in sa would like to start same business
Why is the Nigerian Government not seeing this?!
Does anyone know their social media handle??
I wonder if it’s safe to build raised garden beds with this?
Can you please help by showing me the drawings for the shredding and melting of the plastics? Thanks.
Google “precious plastics” - you may find machinery, certainly shredding and melting processes.
Great. Can I get the email Id of these people? I want to discuss with them.
Brilliant idea
Can I get there contact
Please
Air Pollution is the only flipside of this technique as far as I see...
that can be fixed with air filtering
You need to file a patent on this discovery
Can't do this in the USA too menny regulations .
Consuming lot of energy, please use solar energy for the process.
See to that the pollution level is low 👍
u can also sell tht machine guys so to an extra cash too
it is good video could i get proportion of sand and plastic and procedure pdf
Abdi oge proud da
How do you handle the fumes not to be emmitted to the environment
Those can replace artificial concrete cinder blocks or artificial concrete bricks
They should wear mask when melting the plastic
But this is brilliant nonetheless
Pure hope for the future!!! Great News!
I just read a story about Byfusion - maybe it's someone these guys could work with because what they're doing here doesn't look very healthy.
Well done!
Just one thing…
Please tell them to wear masks…

Ghana too also do it
Great idea, but they are slowly poisoning themselves, and creating micro plastics, when they start to degrade. At least they are doing something though.

Redemption Bottle is the solution in the whole world
enactus to the world. by the way I hope that was just not for the competition

They need to wear mask
But that smoke from the burning plastic will also affect the environment huh
I know: solving a problem by creating a problem
"Please, wear, gas masks, when burning; PLASTICS, it's poisonous "; anyway very ingenious

0:18 Nice to know that even simple 🚮 makes difference. 😉
How can I get their contact?
