  • In this video, I repair a Sorensen DLM 300-2 that has a jumpy and unreliable voltage control. I replace the Bourns 3590s-291-502L potentiometer do this repair. I also modify the power supply to have banana plugs in front of it. this should be about the same for any of the Sorensen 600-watt power supplies.

Welcome back! I kept checking since it had been awhile and sometimes the notifications don't work.

Hey I’ve been watching your TH-cam videos, very informative! But i had a question as far as replacing the led backlighting on all controls (hvac, door switches, steering, light control) on a 07-13 Silverado, can’t seem to find info on that. Not sure if the controls have a green tint/film to them or if the bulbs are green. Also what size led would be good to replace them with! Thank you in advance!

Hi. Cool channel, been checking out your vids for a few months . You've encouraged me to try a DIY on my cluster (nissan). I have diagrams but cant seem to light it up on the bench. How do I go about figuring out what will turn on the LEDs on the cluster ?

I haven't really worked on nissan stuff, most clusters the lights are their own standalone circuit and you just give it 12v and they will turn on but some aren't done like that.

chipquik smd291 or MG chemicals 8341. I like them both.
