For the people in the comments who are not getting any matches: please try to remember that you shouldn't base your self esteem and self worth on the number of matches that you get on a dating app. Some people are just naturally better presented on these apps than others! If you aren't getting many matches on hinge, or tinder or bumble you might want to consider trying to join some clubs or projects in real life where you can meet real people and try to present your full self that you aren't able to present in your profile alone! Just a thought :)

Remember guys it doesn’t matter how many matches. It matters how many you meet. Matches can be manipulated by algorithm. Meets can’t. So if value for money is what you’re after and you have not secured 1 meet in 90 days then it’s a bad purchase.
I'm in a decent sized urban area, a male with a filled out, varied profile with humor & some serious notes. My pictures are clear, diverse & show my excursions, life experiences, and hobbies..yet I don't get matches at all. The algorithm is a necessary evil for some, and a blessing for others.
I can tell you why you not getting matches it’s simple : Guy : if your average looking or below average looking Woman : if your extremely overweight, have children , or unbearable to look at ( hideous in looks department )
Matches don’t mean a thing. I get plenty of them. I have good photos and a great profile. I get loads of compliments on them. No BS. I get maybe 5-7 dates for every 300+ matches. It’s not even worth it. I have good masculine energy and great rizz. Doesn’t matter how good the vibes are or the connection is, 97% of them ghost when you try to setup the date. These women just have way too many options in this day and age and have unrealistic standards.

A few years ago I was banned from Hinge with no explanation. So a few months ago I used Google Voice to create a new phone number. But it will not let me upgrade to premium which makes me think I am shadowbanned. To where my profile isn't showing up for women to see, and the ones I write to aren't seeing the likes/messages. I get matches regularly on both Tinder and Bumble so logically I should be getting matches on Hinge too. The only logical explanation is shadowbanning which is why I get an error anytime I try to upgrade.

I have received matches (a total of 9), but they either ghosted me or just looking for friends. I have a preferred membership, have boosted my profile, and sent roses. I sent likes with comments, but don’t get much back. The only dealbreakers I have set up are “don’t have children” and “50 miles distance.” I don’t know what else I can do to find someone.
