1:45 i envy Tyler's ability to understand what's going on the second he gets his assumtions about the game mechanics challenged. i spent so much time on trying to figure out why i cant push myself against walls for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long
Have fun with this game, and as you pointed out early on in the video, every single puzzle are all unique with their own solution (basically no filler) Excited to see you get stuck on the later puzzles ;)
plot twist he tryed to say seriosly though im hanging over my spot at home [the garden i guess idk where you go at home tbh and the cactuses grew on him pushing him] growing like a cactus with just a battery beside me hanging from one of those plant pots the reqtangular ones you put on walls/fences and theyre not giving me any water but cactuses didnt realise that humans couldnt grow with only power so he died without the cactuses tourchoring him and he couldnt finish typing/didnt enter the comment
What I really like about your puzzle playthroughs are the fact that we can see your thought process, so where is normally think "How can't he see the answer" I can see and hear you just aren't worrying about that bit just yet
7:11 he literally had it, he need 1 move to the right and he missed it. But i understand you get tunnelvision on a solution and miss the alternatives sometimes
Hi I like seeing deeper (albeit unnecessary) symbolic meanings into simple things 0:26 From the sentence that Tyler said It's a representation of how one goes with it's life People often tend to change, whether due to their surroundings, the influences of other people, or simply wishing to do so However, one can also choose to never change from what they initially were, and instead can grow from it, upholding the same principles yet still managing to find a way to renew yourself from it And that's what this cactus chose to do, it started as a small little planting and instead of changing course, it chooses to grow from it. It's a metaphor to how can learn to improve their selves without having to rely on changing their ways in a means to avoid their flaws, but rather accepting it and learning to evolve and grow from it. So a personal message from me, don't ever doubt yourself, you're a beautiful individual and what your imperfections are what make you perfect, try to accept these and you'll learn to reach your full potential with them, because after all, you still have *room to grow*. Wow, I don't know why I just wrote all this, I started watching Tyler's video and in around the 30 second mark my mind instantly came to finding a meaningful symbolism from this game, lmao. Regardless if you read this or not, have a good day!
I really want to see you continue this series! I originally started watching your channel for Bloons content, but once I discovered all the puzzle games you've done in the past, I realized just how great you are! Only puzzle game I haven't watched from your Playlists is Snakebird, and that's because I bought it myself and have yet to beat it, and I don't want all the puzzles spoiled!
Cacti are not easy to manage. If you live in an area with native cacti they are, but if you don’t then it’s a lot of work to keep them warm/dry/watered in the correct amounts.
4:23 bro don't get a cactus, im my experience if you water them just a little bit too much the die. get a succulent, they literally don't care if you forget to water them or if you drown them when you do remember to water them.
I'm a big fan of 3d first person puzzlers like Portal and Superliminal, if you're looking for another game that's challenging or like those Q.U.B.E. 2 has A LOT of puzzles and Quantum Conundrum was made by one of the designers of the Portal games.
yea cactus are really easy to take care of ive had one for a year or 2 behind my monitor on my windowseal and im in uk rn and its blossoming and i havent even seen it i just forgot about it untill my mom pointed out look its bloosoming thats kinda cute something like that
Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong cactus. 1:45 :3 4:10 I should get a cactus.
Hey I don’t know if you’ve played it yet, but you should play dicey dungeons it’s essentially a rogue like but with dice and it’s super sick I would love to see you play it
Been a while since I've covered a straight up puzzle game. Let's grow some cactuses!
Hi
Hey Tyler, you should play the game at dead of night. It's a horror/puzzle game hybrid that I think you would like
Yay puzzles again!!
What
You had this set to private for a week?
could you imagine if tyler actually used a green screen, but chooses to edit in his room for the background
That would be epic
A room inside a room
Big Brain
We know he doesn’t because when his glasses reflect the green of the game it doesn’t get chroma keyed out
Blue however...
It would be like that one firdge streamer.
tyler: "so this is grid-based movement, which is my forte."
me remembering he completed cosmic express, a monster's expedition, and snakebird:
yea you're decent
And Baba is You.
along with the witness, well the puzzle parts not so much 3d
@@samyakshah2040 The major parts of Witness near the end are 3d, although he is pretty good at the 2d parts as well
And the sausage game
Baba?
1:46 did my heart just melted a bit
Yo same tho!🥰
no
u should see a doctor
@@cavemann_ yeah, i agree here
@@cavemann_what would you know, you weren’t even alive when doctors existed
God I love puzzle games where right when you see the main mechanic you immediately realize how mindbending it could become
So you must know about stevens sausage roll
the cactus retracting back into itself at the end of a level is the best part of this game, change my mind
Uh
You're asking a lot of us
I present the cactus being very sad when it can't push off of a surface because the pot is in the way.
How can i?
The best part imo is how the level selector is like the actual in-game movement
1:45 i envy Tyler's ability to understand what's going on the second he gets his assumtions about the game mechanics challenged. i spent so much time on trying to figure out why i cant push myself against walls for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long
Y'know, Tyler really has room to grow with this one
**you**

I didn't like this game at first. But it is really starting to
Grow on me.
*buh dum CRASH*
I love the pun but not liking the game is unbelievable
I don't know, I'm finding it a little dry.
*clap* *clap* *clap*

Does anyone have an idea of when that Patrick's Parabox game is fully released? The concept seems really interesting
I have no idea, though I'm keeping tabs on the dev clockworkpat on twitter to see if any further developments pop up
When it's done lol
Its should be like Stanley's parable ?
I really want to know what happens when you push a level out of itself.
@@gradypharr1300 you go into a "paradox" room. it's on youtube somewhere
"TH-cam Exclusive"
Makes me feel special

5:05 this clip gives me “that’s alotta damage” vibes
7:11 he literally had it, he need 1 move to the right and he missed it. But i understand you get tunnelvision on a solution and miss the alternatives sometimes
I saw that too and was like 'am I missing something here?'
It's honestly scary how good he is at these.
the music reminds me of Animal Crossing, while the brutal level design reminds me of Baba is You
gives me more cosmic express/the witness/snakebird vibes tbh
OHHH HO HO, WATCH THE NEW VIDEO AND THE LEVEL DESIGN WONT BE THE ONLY THING REMBERING YOU OF BABA IS YOU
The cactus has eyes
There’s nothing wrong with that I just think it’s cute
So basically, The Witness but without spending hours on finding the locations of unsolved puzzles
This is so relaxing to watch. I’d love to see more! Keep up the great work Tyler. Good to see that little break give you some amazing energy ❤️
i find it very amusing that you can determine the exact solution of a level by the end growth of the cactus
I got this game the day after it came out and was wondering if you'd play it. Glad you did!
This game so reminds me of snakebird, love it!

Not every puzzle game has to be an absolute brain buster; I'm looking forward to seeing more of this game!
OMG the cactus blushed
This series has room to grow (I want more)
Love it, simple in nature, but feels like its got some depth, like snakebird

Loving this game so far! Can't wait to see more. Very Baba is You in terms of the atmosphere and music. Great puzzles and hopefully more to come!
More of this please. Thank you Tyler.
12:05 That 4WeirdW killed me lol
Usually I don't watch puzzle game youtubers but Tyler makes it so fun to watch.

I want a cactus plushie. NOW.
I feel like Tyler would really enjoy playing AntiChamber either on stream or for TH-cam
He already played it like a year or two ago on stream. I think he said it was alright but more of a exploration than puzzle game
Finally! The Puzzle Game Genre is back!
7:10 you could've just gone right here

I absolutely love this cute little game! I hope there are more videos on it
Thank you for the video! Made my night, this game’s design messes with my mind and heart 😂
New Witness DLC looking good
i love how you zoomed in on ur face when you said “now that’s a long cactus”
This looks like it has meta potential.
This is such a smart game and I really can't wait for the next episode!
The cactus is kinda cute. ^-^
Tyler: the character design is just beautiful
Me in my mind: *dude it's a fuckin cactus*
The Nitrome vibe on that start screen is off the charts
I want to hug that cactus while wearing a thick coat and gloves
I agree the cactus is quite big
For a second when I saw the thumbnail I thought BTDX was back from the dead

Theres definitely room for the difficulty to grow. I guess we'll see how far it goes.
You should play the game “freeways” it’s a puzzle game where you build uh... freeways. It’s actually really fun and I think you will like it.
i like the sound it makes when it moves :)
Janky music, cactus snake, grid lines
This is a real puzzle game
This is like Witness puzzles. Think about it, you're essentially drawing a line
Yeah, I had a plant once, too.
Ran away.
Not sure how and I refuse to ask.
Can you make a giant cactus on the level select once you have finished the game.
“I was just worried about the pot.”
Wouldn't mind making this a series

8:01 tyler does things differently
4:06 everybody has to take care of their pot
this is the type of game you can only ever beat once, unless you are a speedrunner
"I was just concerned about the pot."
This game is very satisfying
"Who says you have to use the head?"

Grid based games are your thing eh? If you like strategy games, I think you’ll enjoy Into The Breach!

Baba is cactus
Cactus is you
Hmm. You have to move a thing on the map screen to get from level to level. Why do I suspect a Baba twist where the map was actually a level?
you should try divide by sheep if you haven't already.
2:05 S for Cact-S.
