its hard because i wanna watch your puzzle videos but after how wonderful the patrick's parabox series was i really wanna play the games before watching the videos but at the same time i dont really have the time to play the games rn
Railway terminology: they are Interlocked. The gate cannot open until the button is triggered. IRL, interlocking is used for things like train doors and train power. The doors are locked until the train stops, and an open door prevents the train from moving. Same for different elements of the signalling system, like points and level crossings. The whole system creates an Interlocking. It helps keep the railway fail-safe by eliminating dangerous options.
Even outside of train, interlocking exist. Example : an electric motor is wired so it can move forward and reverse. You dont want to have it so its possible to enable the forward and reverse relay at the same time. So there is software and hardware interlocking. The hardware interlock sit between the two relays and mechanicaly prevent the relay to engage. Now explaining it, I realise its not the exact same concept. Anyway.

i feel like a lot of puzzle games have that one puzzle where you go "HOLLLYY SHI THATS A LOT OF (insert mechanic here)" and im honestly so glad that that trope exists and is in this game as well. (the puzzle with the tons of buttons)
Your more "classical puzzle game" content is my favorite. Love being introduced to clever puzzles and watching you work your logic is entertaining. Most of the time I get frustrated with content creators playing puzzle games waiting for them to find the solution that I see, but the editing and knack for these games is just a great watch for my puzzle sweet tooth.

I love potion craft (probably my favorite current series), loved dicey dungeons and love the pegglin gameplay, etc. But I must say, simple puzzle games like this are why I love your channel so much! Games like this are when you're at your best. Don't get me wrong, all of your content is honestly top tier some of the best on all of youtube. But there is something about Puzzle Tyler that is just *chef's kiss*

If you like this sort of train programming, you're going to love CR-8, Backpack Hero's robot character. His backpack is essentially a train sandbox, getting a charge to pass through all the items you want and redirecting it to make it travel as far as possible.
I'm surprised you're the only one I've seen mention Trainyard. I have very fond memories of playing that game and all the expansions on the bus to school.

I understand now how do you make videos every day! You picked puzzle and roguelike games as main content, and both of these genres require just a bit of montage: Intro, outro, cut boring and repeating parts, speed up something, and thats it, good yet simple! Your videos is very calm and interesting to watch too because there's just calming gameplay and nothing else.
I think it'd be more fun to do the challenge levels as soon as they are unlocked, since (I assume) they are related to the level that unlocked them, so you can enjoy more of the "variations of a theme" when the original is fresh in memory.
I would definitely like to see you play more of the game. I've seen some of the puzzles a bit further, but I don't know what the end of the game is like. I know it gets quite a bit more challenging though.
I am playing along, trying the puzzle myself first, and then watching you. I was flabbergasted by your outcome on 2-3b. I let car 3 go through the tunnel, loop back on itself and it narrowly looped around car 1 and 2 to make it. I was certain that you were gonna love that solution, but you just thought of an entirely different solution hahaha
