    Misclicking like this is my most hated part of playing Hexcells. I am such a perfectionist that if getting 1 mistake like that means I don't get all points for the level, I will make myself do it over again. I have to pay just as much attention to not misclicking as I do to logically deducing these puzzles.

    • @luziferius3687
      @luziferius3687 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think it allows a certain number of miss-clicks, before lowering the score from “perfect” to “completed”. So if your own goal is “only” a perfect score on the game’s level overview, you can afford a few misses per level. If your _own_ OCD or whatever forces you to have a zero in the mistakes counter when completing a levxel, you are on your own.

    “I took 25 minutes and I did it slowly” I had the hardest time following along. But I did enjoy the video none the less.

    One thing I noticed after playing through these games is that when you mouse over a cell, it jiggles a little bit, sometimes revealing the color underneath, allowing you to skip some of the logic needed to complete a puzzle. I reached out to the dev about this and he had said that it was unavoidable due to the engine and he had already tried fixing it

    As soon as I heard the title of this video I felt shame for not having thought of making this. The concept is brilliant and I put a lot of effort into my "better minesweeper" java game.
    Props to the developer.

    you tricked me into 24 minutes of logic exercises and I am not mad about it. I was surprised I was able to follow your train of thought well (though it's def a tad faster than my usual speed haha)
