Brings back memories! I had one when they first came out, C or D reg many years ago! Knocked the restrictor washer out of the down pipe and fitted a Fresco race silencer. Could get mine off the speedo! Great little bike. 👍🏻
Nice one mate, I’ve fitted a gianelli exhaust to mine now, I’ve done a video on it if you’re interested. Yeah I agree amazing bikes. Cheers for watching. 👍
Had that exact bike 91 in 91 with kips top speed was 79 mph on nobblys had baffles taken out of exhaust and 125 tail pipe reliable never had any troubles
Wow!! 😍 I Miss Riding My Old Green 1999 Kmx 125r in which I had a Serious Accident in 2007! 😕 This Video Brought Me Great Memories! 👍👌 I Love My 4 Strokes Ninja 250r, But There's Nothing Like a 2 Stroke Engine! 😁 I have to continue with the restoration of the Kmx as soon as possible! Yours is still older than mine but it's beautiful, congratulations and good curves! 😉👍✌️
I went to an old Triumph Owners MCC rally - the Meriden ones, not the Hinckley modern stuff - on the Island years ago. The sound of old bikes firing up and revving on the ferry was felt more than heard. As for the looks on the car drivers` faces....surrounded by greebos :) :). I`d forgotten about that, thanks for the memory poke!
Had it over two years now mate and only had one rebuild which was when I got it. the piston kit I got wasn’t super expensive but it wasn’t one of the really cheap ones either. It’s done well.
@@sak94So I just put an oversized wossner forged piston in oversized to 56mm and a nibbi carb shame though I thought the carb would of came with some jets so I can set it up right but I guess that’s another order I now need and yea I will keep below 5000 rpm for the first 3-500 miles to bed my rings in then I will go WOT most of the time letting off occasionally just to be safe my piston is forged not cast so it’s built for WOT racing and good for 20k miles before needing to consider a rebuild my second kmx 125 still runs with 75psi of course I’ll rebuild it but goes to show how little psi these things need to still run pretty well it should be 150psi like my main kmx 125
@@sak94Paid £1400 for my primary running bike that’s now been kitted out and £700 for my secondary running bike btw which is being restored for selling on.
I'm still 2 stroking it 😂 I had to buy a 50cc Aprilia to do so but it would see off the EN 125 Suzuki I had previously. Nothing like a small two stroke motorcycle.
Great bike i have a drestricted version and its so fun to drive even compared to my ducati just every time you fill up you have to mix the oil which is alright at short journeys because i mix fuel for my mx bikes but over 500km you have to refuel at the station also i dont like the suspension bottoms out on every jump
Nice mate, my one has been derestricted as well great power and speed for a 125. Iv'e heard other people say the suspension is a bit soft as well. I need to take mine off road soon.
@@sak94 for enduro its fine just motocross or the big jumps on the dunnes are very bad my yz is like 20 times better also what mpg do you get i get around 35 which is terrible
@@utsaar thanks mate. Yeah I would definitely recommend one if you can find one that’s been well looked after they’re super fun to ride. I haven’t had any reliability problems it just sometimes needs a few more kicks if it’s been sitting a while.
Cheers mate, I’ve done a more recent video on it where I’ve fitted a ginanelli exhaust which makes it sound even better in my opinion. I’ve hit 80mph it will probably max out at 85mph. I don’t mix the oil it has a separate tank. I’m not sure about the miles as I never let it completely run dry but it is thirsty and goes through it quick. 👍
Had so many of these kmxs feel free to check out my channel some good content on there of my old kmxs , got a dtr again now slightly better for the green lanes
@@sak94 cheers mate enjoy the kmx mate and I’ll keep an eye on your channel 😉 I can’t produce kmx vids in the uk now due to me not owning one so it’s your turn to take over 😂
Kawasaki kmx125 until 2023 I'm never change

Please tell me is 2 stroke bike Legal to ride in Central London? I am waiting for answer . Thank you ❤
Unfortunately I don’t know. You’ll have to ask someone else I don’t live in London.
@@sak94 Thank you very much for your response. ❤️❤️
I miss that grey area of the law we all loved as teenagers 😂
How long have you owned it and how many rebuilds has it needed as buying one this week thanks

@ Thanks mate I always do a top end rebuild on any bike I buy so least now I know my rebuild will last at least 2 years or more
@@NemesisGrowz yeah hopefully should mate. I haven’t ragged the hell out of it to much which probably helps lol.

What are your thoughts on the Kawasaki, planning on buying one myself
Love it mate, not as fuel efficient as a 4 stroke but the enjoyment you get from riding it is worth it in my opinion.
Nice one.sadly in the states a 20 min ride you would have had 2 or 3 near death experiences,.do you get off road much?,nice bike!👍
Cheers mate, I used to ride pit bikes off road a lot but unfortunately now everywhere I used to go have all been built on now.
Nice video, would you recommend this bike, and would you say it's reliable despite being a two stroke?

kawasaki kmx 125 the best motor

What carburator do you have?
I think just stock mate
